I heard about this place and had to try it out. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a sweet young lady, then the owner... himself came to welcome us (talk about customer service) our waitress was awesome as well. Now to the most important part...thefood...it exceeded our expectations....THE EMPANADAS were DELISH! Food was fresh and tasty. Definitely our new go to for somegreat spanish food. This is my favorite puerto rican restaurant!! Came across it when I worked and lived near by. 2 weeks ago I was in jersey... visiting and my gal friend catered from here, my face instantly started to glow with excitement.. I'm not a huge fan of pork,BUT the pernil from here is so TENDER and mouthwatering. Their food is authentic!! You bet I had 2 plates!! Literally never abad experience. My sister had been to this café which serves Puerto Rican food a number of times. We went with a group of athletes with... disabilities after the Tri-State Athletic Games recently. The food was all good. The beef stew was very tender and wellseasoned, both the sweet and green plantings were well done, not to dry. The rice was cooked to perfection as was the stewedchicken and shrimp's. We also had the combo appetizer platter, which consisted of empanadas, three plantains with ground beef,and yuca.
