Woodbridge Social REVIEW: I was visiting from out of town and local family selected Woodbridge Social - it was also on my to... visit list so I was excited to visit and what a disappointment. We ordered 4 entrees and had issues with 2 of them. Thai chickenlettuce wraps were extremely salty and unable to be eaten and was taken off the bill. The 2nd item we had an issue with was theSocial Burger- midway through the burger the individual eating the burger felt something in their mouth and when they removedthe item it was paper - it was about half gone so no way of knowing of what had already been consumed without even realizing it;we notified the server who informed us after review with management there would be a 50% charge on the burger - oh and also achip for a free drink. Disappointed with response as at no time did management come out to speak with us directly and was leftto the server to handle the situation. Was a scene made - no - will we ever go again no - will we post reviews - most definitelyyes!!! to inform others not only of our experience but also warn of the negligence of Woodbridge Social Restaurant of servingfood with materials that shouldn't be there. I am literally cracking up. This must be a joke. I just ordered take out for my team via their online ordering system. It is a... cold and blustery day, so three of them wanted a nice hot bowl of French onion soup. Delish! At $10 per bowl, I am thinking thismust be some AMAZING soup- considering the soup alone is $30. Our order is picked up and brought back to us. We eagerly sit downto enjoy our food and discover our delicious piping hot French onion soup is instead French Onion ice cream! No, for real. Theygave us three ice cold plastic containers of onion water and UNMELTED slices of cheese floating on top. You cannot make thisstuff up! Confused, hungry and annoyed, I call the restaurant where I am met with "the manager" who is already annoyed probablybecause he is enduring Journey on full blast in the background. I (probably not so nicely) explain I've just spent $30 on threebowls of hot soup and you mistakenly sent me onion water gazpachos. I asked how he thought it was ok to send us three ice coldsoups. He explained to me that the "chef" told him if he put hot soup into the plastic containers the containers would melt! ( Ihave ordered soup before- not only from here but many other places and the plastic has never melted into disintegration). I saidit was not okay that this is not mentioned on their website- if I am about to order Onion Water Ice Cream, I should know aboutit beforehand, especially when it costs $10 each! Of course he kept telling me I was right, but I explained as a manager, if mychef came to me and said I'm sending these hot soups out cold- I would 10,000% tell him he was insane, heat the soups and goodluck with your next job! What were my options do you wonder? Well, I could pack up my cold soups, drive back to the restaurant,where "the manager" could put them in the microwave and give them back to me hot. This place was AMAZING! I was doing a job in the area and thought I'd stop in for lunch. The food was incredible and the... portions were huge. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich and had to tap out. The fries are some kind of next level wizardry. Can'twait to go back. Read more
Staff is very friendly. Simple menus with something for everyone. Plenty of options on beer choices. Pastrami Bomb sandwich was... excellent. Major issue with crumbled cheese in the coleslaw. Not sure if it was goat cheese or feta but it was the worstcoleslaw I?ve ever had. Would have been excellent otherwise. Coleslaw is a simple staple item to accompany a deli sandwich. Noneed to add cheese to it. Keep it simple and classic. Read more
Great food and drinks with good size portions. Very attentive and sweet waitress. Place was properly cleaned.
Very nice people but sorry the food wasn?t very good. Omelettes are not hard to make and it was the worst one I?ve ever had.... Other people in our party liked their food though so I gave it an extra star. Read more
