Went here on the advice of a friend. Usually these older places that are off the beaten path, have some pretty great food, but... this place was pretty hit or miss. The misses: The fried oysters were super greasy, and other than fried breading, had noflavor. The crab dip also suffered from lack of seasoning, and wasn't hot. The steak and cheese also left a lot to be desired, but that's on me for ordering a Philly sandwich icon, in Woodbine, Maryland LOL! The hits: The Wings were AWESOME! Big, juicy, and fried to perfection, liberally seasoned with Old Bay. Note that these are battered wings, which I don't typically like, butthese were done right. The potato salad was also great, my buddy ate two servings. The fries were good, and the fried chicken islegit. Atmosphere wise, it's just an old local bar/restaurant, with lots of regulars. We sat at the bar, and while the bartendermay not have smiled once, he gave excellent service. Would go back for the wings and fried chicken. Read more

I was in town from the west coast so I was looking forward to some local crab. We ordered a dozen crabs and apps. All of it was... amazing! I couldn't put down the food. Staff was very friendly and parking was easy Read more

The food was great! We stopped in on a Tuesday evening for dinner and the place was full. They must be like many other... restaurants with staff shortages, as they were slow (but friendly) in getting the orders out. We were there an hour and a halftotal (my wife and I) and enjoyed our crab cakes. If you got the time, the food is great, but skip this place if you need to getin and out in a reasonably short time. The crabs were the best I've had this year! The waitress was good but she had to many tables to able to give attentive service.... The only other knock I have is the parking, or lack thereof. Read more

From MD, but live in another state now, but always make sure when we come into town, that we eat at least one meal at the... Woodbine. Was very disappointed in the food quality, and now they have no prices on the menu. Everything has gone up in price, but not the same good food they use to have. Understand having to raise prices due to food costs, but let me decide by pricewhat I want to order, and get the food back to its flavorful taste. Gonna try one more time on our next trip back there again, but if there's no changes and improvement, then pointless to bother. Read more

Definitely a local type, small eatery. When I saw that the menu had no prices I wondered what was I in for, but the prices were... actually pretty reasonable. The tuna salad we got was quite good, crab dip was okay but not great. Plenty of people wereenjoying plates of steamed crabs, but that's not my deal. Seem to be plenty of seating, and quite a number of TVs if you're asports person you want to keep track of that sort of thing. Decent place to have a meal. Read more
