I was looking for halal for my clients and came across this restaurant. I called in my order and for my food I ordered the pan... fried tilapia. When I arrived I had to find parking on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. My food was ready and Ipaid and left. When I dug in the tilapia was very bland. I typically order from here every now and then and even sometimes once or twice a week. Food is good, depends on certain days.... Phone service is great. But my main concern with them is that, you order a certain dish. And the potion for that dish like Ihave in the picture I think is a lot for $18 bucks honestly. Not to mention that it is missing key ingredients for the beefsauté, oregano no where to be found. Peppers, I might have got lucky if I had at least two chopped up ones. And just missingsome salt and pepper for that little kick. I mean, based on my review this happened a couple of times even with differentcertain items but for a decent well known restaurant, they should have a bit more on the quality side control before sending adish out out honestly. Great little spot I found on a day off and was very happy to spend a quiet lunch at! Way different experience being able to dine... in at. I got the gyro/beef kebab with some Turkish coffee and it was delicious! Good prices for sizable portions enough for twomeals. Read more
This is a good and authentic Turkish/ Mediterranean spot. All the food options we've tried were fresh and healthy. Their... hummus, spicy veggie spread were both delicious appetizer options. Bread that came with the apps was fresh and toasty. Themains were delicious, we've ordered Branzino and kebabs. Branzino portion was large and satisfying, while kebabs were juicy andsucculent. Seems many locals in Wood-Ridge area prefer ordering at this restaurant. We've observed many people come and go withtake-out food orders while we were dining. Calm place, not crowded. Therefore, the service is good. I was not a fan of Adana Kebab before coming to this place. Now, I know... where to have them, so far the best. As for the pricing, I haven't seen less in NJ area. Read more
