Food was great, staff was exemplary. I had the lunch fish and chips and the batter used was awesome. Touristy items of note:... kids chicken fingers is ten bucks, add fries for another four. Fountain sodas are not free refills and three bucks a piece. Read more
We tried several restaurants on Sunday. No one would take a party of 14 but with 2 minutes before closing, Garwoods took us. ... Such great service. Can't say enough about these guys. Read more

I have been to Garwoods many times, but today my drink surpassed all drinks I?ve had here before? I got a cold brew espresso... martini made by Sonya (who is an excellent bartender/server, and so friendly!). The drink was made with locales brewed coffeefrom Lucas (check them out, too!), and topped with whipped Baileys foam. I believe that it is going on the summer menu, but justask for it! Yum! It was the only option open on the Monday following the 4th of July. This resulted in some items being unavailable as they were... very busy; however, we were seated right away. Our seat was on the deck almost level with the lake. We had a beautiful view.Our server was awesome! She knew the menu in detail and provided honest input. Wine and beer were good although my Malbec pourswere a tad short. Appetizers, pasta and burger that we had were all excellent. Definitely recommend it! Read more
Great dinner overlooking lake Sat outside on the downstairs deck - wonderful lake view on relaxing early evening. Shared the... Caesar salad and 5-spice salmon entree - delicious and lite. Penny Island cocktail was their version of a Vodka mule. Delicious!Wine selection was good too. Service was terrific by server, ?Aedan?, and our busser ?Kenzie?. Both made the dinner fun -friendly conversation and prompt service. Will return and would recommend! Read more
The view was amazing snf the staff friendly, but the food left a lot to be desired, unfortunately. The lobster bisque had 1... small piece of lobster and the burger was overcooked and bland. My friends fish and chips was pretty decent. Read more
