Hosted a wedding luncheon last Friday for approximately 80 people. Event manager, Gina and staff, Delilah, Jessica and Andrew... provided exceptional service. This was the second time I was there. I gave them a second chance because the first time was not good either. The food is... extremely salty. Now it's not just one dish it was everything in the buffet. Also the staff was removing stuff from the tableswhile everyone was still eating. My Granddaughter is a slow eater and the waitress asked three times if she was through eatingso that she could take her plate away.The food was removed from the buffet very quickly without so much as asking if anyonewould like seconds. It was like they were in a rush to get us out. There was a late comer to the party that arrived after thefood was removed and when asked if they could make him a dish with the food that was removed and they replied no. When asked whywe were told that they threw all the remaining food out. That party was not over so why would the food be thrown out or thrownout at all of our was paid for by the woman having the party. When asked to speak to the manager a very unprofessional womancame to speak to the woman hosting and was very rude. At that point they asked to speak to the owner to which she said she wasthe owner. We went for Ladies night food was amazing and we had such a beautiful view!
Wanted to give it a 5 because of the presentation and taste. However my pasta wasnt drained well and it watered down the... delicious sauce that was replaced graciously by our server. Just slow to arrive. Overall would definitely recommend to familyand friends. Read more
Attending a high school reunion here this late Nov. weekend, it was my first time here. It's a nice place for an event. An... eatery based on the town public golf course, it offers tavern food and a full bar. In warmer months there is outdoor seating.Inside, there is a reception area, a dining room with maybe ten tables and the bar room with some additional seating. Thebuffet food was fair. Four trays offered basic calamari, stuffed mushrooms with a piece of bacon inside, a sliced sandwich withsausage, something called pepper poppers (fried peppers with cheese), platters of raw vegetables, and crackers and cubed cheddarwith a cured meat. The red grapes were delightfully crisp, fresh and flavorful. A sheet cake was on hand for dessert. Waitstaff was prompt and friendly. The bartenders were willing to make special cocktails for drink tickets that came with theadmission price. Depending on the budget, this is a good choice for those who can't afford more and still want a decentlocation. Photos of the regular dinner service look appealing. Read more
Great food, fantastic service and the best view in town. Have had many lunches, dinners and have attended several parties. Have... even brought guests from out of town who now wish to return. Would recommend it to anyone looking for good food at a reasonableprice with great service. Read more
