The environment of the restaurant was very calming and the waitress we had was very nice. If this is your first time trying... Japanese style food and get this waitress she is very informed and excellent at her job. The food we ordered was two differenttypes of sushi. The first was the Vegas roll and the second was the special which was the harvest roll. The Vegas roll a 6 piecesushi was deep fried with crab meat, cream cheese, sweet potato, and spicy tuna. I typically don?t like deep fried rolls butthis one was fantastic. The harvest roll was a 10 piece roll with tempura soft shell crab, kanpyo, cheddar cheese in the center.The outside was topped with salmon and spicy tuna. Drizzled with eel sauce, kewpie mayo, and sriracha chili sauce. Lastly it wastopped with tobiko green onion and sesame seeds. This roll was mildly spicy because of the Siracha but overall was a decent rolland I would recommend at least trying this roll once. The appetizer I ordered was a spicy crab Rangoon which I found interestingbecause it went a tad beyond the regular crab Rangoon with sweet sauce. I personally didn?t like it but I applaud the effort tobring something new to an otherwise basic appetizer. The last thing I got was their Nabeyaki Udon which out of all the food Isampled from Hokkaido was my favorite. Excellent presentation and good taste. I mainly gave this restaurant a five star for theservice. Although not completely authentic to Japanese standards it is still a good restaurant that you won?t regret coming to. Read more
My favorite sushi place in Rapids by far. The monthly specials are always wonderful to try. I have my go-to favorites, but... always down to try the new specials. Wonderful place to dine in, or grab some food for take out. Chef kiss. Read more
This was my first time here and I had a wonderful experience. I ordered the gyoza, futo maki, and crunch spicy shrimp roll. The... food was fantastic! Our server was very friendly, and the owner even came out and made sure we were having a good experience.Overall, we had a great time. We will definitely be coming here again. Read more
Food is always wonderful and fresh. The hot tea is one of the best ive had in a resturaunt. The owner is friendly and manages... his establishment with pride. The waitstaff work very hard. Dine in or carry out is always great! They get busy for dinner rushso plan ahead! Read more
Horrendous service. Waited almost an hour for food to arrive before cancelling our order and leaving. The waitress was very... nice, it was not her fault. I don't think they had even started preparing our order when we left. The owner didn't have anythingto say when I approached him. He didn't seem to care and didn't even offer an apology I would have understood the wait due tobeing short staffed, but several larger tables that arrived after us were served.
