I had ordered the 4 cheese Mac and cheese with the chicken. To say it was sweet is an understatement. I have had deep fried... Oreos at the state fair with less sugar on them. I had ordered the lemonade to drink with my meal and it was watered down beyondbelief. The meal my wife had was no better. Her mashed potatoes were chalky and smelled like garbage. She ordered the chickenand shrimp meal and they didn?t bring the shrimp. My wife politely asked for the shrimp. They brought it out almost raw withlittle seasoning on it. I wouldn?t have fed the meal to my dog. Our entire meal for two people was about $50. Money well wastedif you ask me. Read more
Went there for lunch and tried their Tex Mex bowl grilled chicken. Pretty tasty and not as spicy as I thought it would be. ... Great lime and cilantro flavor. And surprisingly, chicken portion was a lot. Recommend for you to try it. They also have itwith Shrimp instead of chicken . I give it a thumbs up ????. Read more
Not the friendliest of staff. It appeared Nailea (our server) may have been new but tried to come across as friendly,... unfortunately not quite succeeding. Only looked like they had 2 servers on, with 5 tables sat when we initially went in. Only 1table (a 2 top) came in after us & mind you the ONLY additional table that came in the whole time we ate. However, there was 3tables that sat dirty the entire time we dined (approximately 35 minutes). The air was turned up too high & was beyond freezing.Overheard a guest with a baby next to our table talking about how cold it was. I also had to go out to my car to grab asweatshirt. The barbecue wings had an over abundance amount of sauce, which gave a burning sensation in the throat. The wafflefries we got as an appetizers were OK, but considering people "eat with their eyes 1st" they plating was a little messy but Afor effort on the taste, which really was just OK... definitely not worth all the hype from the commercials. The chicken saladbowl I ordered was EXTREMELY dry!! Even the chicken was dry. I was able to take about 2 bites & just couldn't bare drinkingwater just 2 get it down! ??????? The wonton tacos were over-cooked & the sauce seemed to not be mixed properly. The only thingthat seemed to be decent was the oreo shakes my daughter & I ordered & my son's 3 cheese mac & cheese. Except his breadstick wasalmost burnt & hard as a rock! Applebee's (in Rapids for now at least) will most likely never have my business again until theystep up their customer service & cooking skills!! It's obvious why Applebee's is declining in business. Food was delicious & out speedy quick, our server was nice/tentative. They have a promotion going on right now where you get a... free movie ticket with $25 purchase. (So, that was a sweet surprise) The reason why I?m giving them less than a perfect scoreis they gave us the incorrect change! Read more
By far the worst food and service I've ever had at an Applebee's. Our waitress was non-existent and this is how our food finally... got to us, luke warm and "sorry, you're going to have to stir the buffalo sauce." Cannot believe I spent $13 a piece onsomething I could have just thrown on a plate and made it look more appetizing myself. Read more
Admittedly I was quite apprehensive about visiting tonight after reading all the recent poor reviews. Regardless we had gift... cards to use up and have no Applebee's in our area anymore. All in all it was an excellent experience ! Service was outstandingand friendly ! Food was delicious for what I expect from Applebee's ;) The signature bacon Mac and cheese leaves something to bedesired though. We had mozzarella sticks and pretzels with beer cheese dip for appetizers, they were hot and tasty ! The wifeordered the 8oz sirloin and I ordered the Parmesan Steak and shrimp. Everything was cooked to order, and had great flavor ! Iwould definitely return more often if it were closer to us ! Read more
Horrible experience last couple of times there, will not go back again. I mean, even if waitress is new, who on their right... minds think this appetizer looks good to be served to ANYONE!? and the time before that I asked for a parmesan shrimp sirloinwell done and was missing parmesan sauce and missing the shrimps also sirloin was burnt and my boyfriend's wanted he's mediumwell and he got he's well done. Also waitress gave us our drinks and went chit-chat with her co-workers while we waited for herfor about 15-20 minutes for her to come to us and ask for our order and last but not least our appetizers took forever to cometo the table. We went to the Wisconsin Rapids restaurant this evening and left without even being served. The restaurant was not very busy... but was completely ignored. It was sonslow that the hottest was relaxing on the chairs. She did seat us promptly but afterthat we were treated like we were not even there. The both next to us was finishing up, received there check paid the bill andtable was cleaned. We waited about 10 minutes and a large group was then seated and before they sat down the waitress was wasright there taking there drink order. Read more
