My wife and I heard they had new ownership and decided to try it again, we went under previous owners and really didn't like it.... We like it a lot now! Food is better they have a great salad bar and the bartender was attentive and mixed drinks very well.Great little hide-away atmosphere while sitting on the back deck too! We will be back. Read more
Great little place. We arrived closer to closing than we normally would go, but everyone working was so nice and friendly. They... made us feel welcome. The food was amazing. I could not eat all of my prime rib and even the reheated leftovers were excellent. The pastas were a hit with our teens and my fiances pork chop was giant in size and flavor. The salad bar was a nice surpriseand well stocked with a good variety of fresh and tasty items. Read more

Decided on Rubbs to celebrate our anniversary. Coincidentally, we found out it?s the restaurant?s anniversary too! Thank you for... the amazing meal, excellent service, super soup/salad bar, fresh, clean, ambiance, music and a free anniversary dessert?!? Willdefinitely be back to this hidden gem. It was a very nice quaint little place super friendly staff! Quick service! Every meal came with a soup and salad bar, the salad... bar was outstanding too! Reminding me of a salad bar back in the day. We felt like seafood that night I had the deep friedperch, with a loaded baked potato it was great just like I'd expect from a Wisconsin club. My wife had the bacon wrappedscallops with loaded mashed potatoes, that was also very good! Nice big scallops and thick bacon! I definitely want to go backand try the steaks next time. Read more
A little out of the way but not too hard to find if you're looking. Had to send one glass back that had "lip marks" on it.... Otherwise everything was okay. I had the NY Strip steak with Cajun rub, wife had Prime Rib and son had the burger. Both wife andmyself had the garlic mashed potatoes. Food was decent, I did like my steak better than the Prime Rib my wife had, althoughhers wasn't bad. I was a bit worried because I didn't really smell the cooking when we walked in and last time that happened ata restaurant, the food was bland. For me the Cajun rub added flavoring so seemed find to me and son finished his food as didthe wife so I assume it was all good. Awesome. Clean salad bar with 2 excellent soups! We had pasta & perch. Little pricey perch, but the salad bar was an added... bonus. Good bar drinks. The topper is the location, ambience & the fabulous employees! The 3 guys last night conversed with usit was fantastic. Hats off to a great visit!!! Read more
