Very nice food. If you go early (5-6AM) the sunrise is beautiful! A bunch of stuff to do like pool the game).

Ok food. Defiantly not fine dinning or worth the prices. Got Steak and mash potatoes. Steak was decent mash potatoes were way... to salty. Cheesecake tasted like grocery store quality, just re plated with addition of small amount of sauce (10$) Spent 150$for 2 people and both left saying would not go back. If the total bill was half the cost I would give it 4 stars. Just lowerquality food then expecting. Staff was great and the view is amazing. Read more

Called for reservations for 3 at 4pm. They said there was a 7:45pm slot. We said, "Yes" We had a special occation. Celebrating... my Sister and my birthday and honoring my Mom's memory as she passed just 2 years ago. My Dad wanted something special. Wearrived 20 minutes early just in case there was an opening so when we were told there wasn't and we could sit in the bar or thetv room, no big deal, we were early. When 7:45 hit we were told to please be patient, it would be 15 more minutes....no bigdeal, we are okay with that. Then someone came up to the host and said she was sorry but her party that was supposed to be thereat 7 just arrived and was the spot still there. (Ummm it was 8 at that point, an hour late) They were told they saved theirspot. So we were sitting there waiting for a spot and one was held for people that were an hour late?? We said nothing. We werefinally called to our table shortly after 8. It was beautiful. Window seat, wonderful view! Problem was, we never got to evenorder our drinks or see our server for over 15 minutes. She apologized for the wait and took our drink order and dinner order atthe same time. We wanted the clams as an appetizer but they were out. No big deal as during these times, that happens, no harm,no foul. Drink order didn't come for another 20 minutes. Dinner came about 5 minutes after our drinks. We were never offeredmore drinks. When she did come to see how we were doing we were done with the meal and we asked for coffee. I then said, "Oh,and a dessert menu!" which she said, that was a good call because the desserts were excellent. Coffee came, dessert menu neverdid, neither did offers to refill our coffee. My dad took his credit card out. He was "done" A dinner which we wanted to bespecial was not as special. It could've been really nice. Drinks and meals were good, coffee was good. 06/19/22 Wolf Creek Bar - One of the best Charcuterie boards we've ever had. Wife even loved it, and she usually just tolerates... my like for Charcuterie. :<) Also, possibly the best Sazerac I've had anywhere. So good, wife even had one. Both server andbar tender were very nice, and easy to talk to. All that and an incredible view. Dining Room - Menu somewhat limited. Took achance on the Steelhead (hate it when I get tasteless farm-raised), but *this* was excellent, *including* the very nicelyprepared potatoes and green beans. Service was great, and server was very pleasant. BTW...same incredible view. I wouldprobably drive up from town to eat here at least once, even if I was not staying at Sun Mountain. There was a note somewherethat new owners are going to make changes. Hope they maintain the quality level of people, cocktails, and food currently inplace. Read more

Excellent food and services. You can't beat the view. We didn't make reservation but they fit us in right away. Come early... before the crowd so you can get a window seat. Read more

My wife and I enjoyed lunch here. We found the service a bit slow and maybe not as professional as you would expect in a high... caliber restaurant but the food quality was outstanding. We had burgers, one with soup and one with Caesar salad. Everything wasdelicious and more than adequate portions. I asked for my burger to be more medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. It looks like the restaurant is making an effort to provide good service during these difficult times but they might have a way... to go. This $18 prawn salad was underwhelming and a bit sad. I understand it was to go but... not what I expected. The steak wasgood but nothing to write home about. Looking forward to when the kitchen can be back to normal. Read more
