Best bbq place I've been to in all of north Carolina. Fast service with good prices and portions. I ordered the chopped bbq pork... and slow cooked chicken plus 3 sides and they were all excellent. The chicken, pork, and vinegar sauce were better than I've hadat any other place. The inside was clean and loved the design of the interior. My only complaint was the corn bread was bad, toodry and dense. I meant to order the corn muffin so I guess that was my mistake. I will be coming back if I'm every in the areaagain. Read more

Hands down the best BBQ in Greenville (That I've tasted so far). I ordered the BBQ that came with the biggest potatoe I've ever... seen that thing was mutant and loaded down with melted cheese and bacon. I also recieved collards and a sweet potatoe muffin,everything was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere and staff were great as well. Can't go wrong with this place ???? Read more

Good food, VERY clean eatery and the staff were clean, polite and helpful. I absolutely loved the sweet potato muffin/ corn... muffin things! The collard greens were nice and leafy but were a bit vinegar-ish and I?ve never had collard greens prepared inthat fashion. They weren?t bad, just not my taste preference. The ribs were tender & the macaroni and cheese was good. My foodwas neatly plated and presented. Thank you Sam Jones staff for a pleasant dining experience. Read more

Sam Jones sets the bar for good whole hog bbq, and that bar is high. Never had a bad meal here (and we eat here a lot). Bbq... and smoked turkey are very good. Ribs are sometimes hit or miss, not bad, just better than other times occasionally. I willsay I am not a fan of the corn bread, so I usually get the toast. Service is good, food comes out fairly quick. HIGHLYRECOMMEND!! Read more
