A few weeks ago we ordered food to be delivered and the driver showed up with the wrong order. We called to either get a refund... or the correct food delivered. They said they couldn't do a refund nor deliver the food because it was through ubereats.Ubereats said they wouldn't give a refund because its marked as food delivered and suggested to handle it with Five Guys. Fiveguys manager said they would make a note of it so that when we came back they would take care of us. We showed up today andthere was no documentation of the order and the General Manager said "Thats not how we do it.". So disappointing to see acustomer lost over a $10 meal. I went in and place an order for a regular hamburger and medium fries with a drink. The cashier gave me a price of about $18,... what? $18 for hamburger and fries. I walked out, and anyone paying these prices is a part of the problem. Refuse to pay theseridiculous prices and they will get them in line. I would like to add that if you keep paying these stupid prices the federalreserve will continue to raise interest until your company can not afford to keep you.Then you will not be able to pay $20 for asmall hamburger and medium fries which will have the same effect. On occasion, either as a treat to myself after a really good workout, or a really bad day, (or just as a break from the constant... "rabbit food" elect to eat every day for every meal) I'll go to Five Guys and treat myself to 2 doubles with everything and justabsolutely destroy them in short order. It's not typically my goal to finish them before the person behind me even gets theirorder, but often that's exactly what happens. Their burger are some of the best around after all. No special orders, no fries(not a huge fan of their fries honestly), no peanuts (they hurt my tummy now that I'm old), no drink and no shake. Just back toback (to back) wonderfully greasy yet crispy burgers hammered down my gullet like someone eager to impress on a first date; myonly dessert being the open mouthed looks of horror from the pale teenager as he sees some big ogre devour the food he just madelike a death row inmate eating his last meal. Today however, was a special treat; the elderly couple seated next to me got towitness what I'm sure they assumed to be a man possessed by the spirit of a highly territorial chihuahua wharf down his food allbefore they had even begun their fries. Confused horror was plastered across the woman's face as I left before the number aftermine could even be called out. Stopped on my way home from Oviedo to Lake Mary. Ordered my food to take home with me. They handed me a bag and I trusted it was... the right order. Wrong order. Don?t know what seasoning was on the fries, but we couldn?t eat them. Hamburgers didn?t havethe right toppings because they handed me the wrong order. Also, paid for a large drink and the caffeine free Diet Coke wasempty. So I asked for a refund and they said no. So I had to settle for a regular Diet Coke. Seems to me if they can?t give youwhat you paid for, a refund should be given. I was going to say next time I will take the time to check the order, but therewill not be a next time for me.
