I regularly come into this Starbucks to study as I go to the college down the road. I usually go in the night time as I have... class during the day and the baristas that I?ve always seen have always gone above and beyond. Today while studying there weresome kids who came in and started to cause a ruckus, however the three employees remained very calm and resolved the situation.Lydia,Isaiah, and Rachel all asked me if I was ok and if I needed anything like a water after the commotion in the lobby.Despite the weird situation this was probably one of my best experiences in a Starbucks. The employees on duty continued tosweep to ensure the store was looking the best as possible. Drinks were made fast and on-top of it all, tasted amazing. Kudos tothe manager who hired these employees as they went above and beyond today and overall made my day. Read more
Call it a sign of the times or poor planning. This Starbucks located on one of the most beautiful streets in Florida was... understaffed. They were not able to take phone orders so I went in person.Tension was in the air due to many guests waiting andemployees working past their normal shift just trying to clear the crowd. Since I had over two hours to wait until my early evening Amtrak train from the Winter Park Station to Washington, D.C., I asked... a stranger where the nearest cafe was located. He kindly suggested several bars and casually mentioned that a Starbucks was twoblocks down the road on Park Avenue. After entering I ordered my coffee and decided to sit outside where there are seventables. It was a bit noisy inside and I did not find it appealing, and it seemed almost like a ?Happy Hour? in some bar ratherthan a cafe. The coffee was OK and the WiFi worked well, so I would not hesitate to return to this particular Starbucks. WinterPark is one of my favorite places in the Orlando, Florida area and the location is ideally close to the Amtrak Train Station. Read more
I love this Starbucks, the staff is wonderful and I have been a regular for a while, but the homeless guy situation is getting... worse here. I had one follow me out to my car a few months ago and this morning another came over to where I was seated andcalled me a ?bitch? and I was just sitting there. Never said a word to him. They hide out in the restrooms here or will justsit and hang out sometimes. I love a latte, but I?m done with this location. There are three other nearby - I?ll caffeinateelsewhere. Read more
