Delicious late lunch at Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen & Bar in Winter Haven, Florida. I had Blackened Swordfish with Brussel Sprouts... and salad. Robert had Shrimp marinara and Mama Hoff had grilled red grouper Brussel Sprouts and fresh fruit. We enjoyed Coconutcake ???? for dessert. The tomatoes were fresh. firm and delicious in the salad. Very good food -- we ordered the fried tomatoes app (it was amazing), dozen oysters (definitely recommend) and the Grouper... Ceviche (which was very good too)! I ordered the whole yellowtail at market price -- and it was very nicely done! It wasbattered and fried nicely and the inside was very tender. My husband ordered the fish BLT sandwich and was not impressed, butall of the other foods were yummy & the drinks were good, but nothing too surprising or stellar there. Let me start by saying I'm not a fan of fish. It is my least favorite thing to eat but my friend wanted to try this spot so I... did. I was not excited about it and had low expectations. Service was great.. our waitress name was CC I believe. She made theentire menu sound delicious and sold me on dishes I would normally never try. I'm glad she did though because everything wasgreat to my surprise. I had the clams appetizers, the swordfish entree, and carrot cake for dessert. Did not disappointwhatsoever! I really enjoy coming here. The vibes/decor are a bit stuffy but overall a really good neighborhood spot with fresh seafood and... a really great happy hour! They have an extensive list of oysters which was super impressive. I?ve had the Shrimp po?boys, bangbang shrimp, key lime pie, all really good! Service was great! Everyone is friendly and the manager is always around. My serverwas Cici* she was awesome, gave us really good recommendations and was beyond attentive. Definitely going back for brunch! Read more

Food was delicious if you are willing to wait. My gf and I had a bad experience the 1st time we visited on date night but... decided to come back again. Food was amazing and delicious but can use some refinement as far as presentation. Servers heredon't have much character and are always running around. They seem to be scattered around with tables in different sections. TheHurricane is worth the $ for a strong drink, crab cakes and swordfish with collards was my fave! Read more

Very nice, modern and cozy fish and oyster bar and restaurant. It has inside and outdoor seating. They have a wonderful brunch,... but we chose from the regular menu and the specials, which were kind of pricey ($40). The drinks were only $8 ×2. The oysterselection was amazing aa was our server! Had to find a good seafood restaurant in a pinch, and this place overly delivered! Hostess, bartender, waitstaff, everyone was... nice and attentive. Loved watching the bartender deal with an over entitled customer with ease and perfection. It was hard notto purchase the french toast available for brunch, it was delicious and full of flavor. Came here for double date night on Wednesday last week and it was a great spot for fresh seafood, drinks, and customer service!... We ordered some raw oysters and drinks to get the night started and ended with shrimp and grits and the boiled seafood platter.Overall a good experience especially with our friendly server. Forgot his name but I?m pretty sure he had glasses and humored uswith his pronunciation of Apalachicola oysters. Read more
