I always love dining at Linda's. The food is always good, comes out fast and the staff are always a pleasure to speak with.... Linda came by to visit the table and meet my friend who was dining there for the first time. I had the London Broil with eggs, grits and a grilled biscuit. It was delicious! Can't wait to come back. We went in the other day for the first time and definitely was impressed. Customer service is excellent and the food was very... good. The prices are also very reasonable. If you plan on giving them a try make sure you take cash because they do not acceptcredit cards. We definitely recommend you give this diner a try! Read more
Great little hometown dinner. Linda's Diner has been in Winter Park for over fifty years and you'll find the current owner... lending a hand waiting tables or taking your money since the diner is CASH only (there is an ATM there just in case). The foodwas delicious, we enjoyed the 2-2-2 with French Toast, eggs, and bacon. The food was prepared in a timely manner and absolutelydelicious, we will be going back. Read more
It's like I walked into that signature diner that no sitcom is perfect without. The kind where the customer is a regular and... the employees are down-to-earth, the atmosphere telling you that everyone in the room is family. They know each other, enjoyeach other, eat with each other, etc. with each other. What a treat it was to go there on the 20th of November, just lastmonth. Diners are usually calmer and less hectic than fast food stops, of course. But this was even calmer, calmer than youraverage diner. Every worker knew the rules, directions, routine, etc. and they nailed their jobs because it was never any rush.No fast food? No need to rush. I ordered the Grilled Bacon & Cheese and a bowl of mashed potatoes w/gravy. But no dinerbreakfast is perfect without 2 hotcakes topped with all the good stuff (butter, syrup, and whatever floats your boat), so that'sobviously in my meal. Oh yeah, the last thing was a cup of AJ. In the end? Supa dang delicious. You making a list of awesomehistoric diners & restaurants in Central Florida? Put this baby right in there, it's cool. Best Shepherds Pie I?ve had in a long time! I was just driving by and noticed for the first time that there was an open parking... space Sinai decided to give it a try. I love diners and have drive. By for years but the parking lot was always full. I waspleasantly surprised to see that Shepard?s Pie was one of their specials because it?s hard to find outside of an Irishrestaurant so I?ll try it whenever I see it offered. I ordered it with boiled cabbage and garlic toast as the 2 sides. Theyserving size was s great deal for the price and was hot and seasoned well. The service was very friendly and attentive. Ididn?t notice the cash only sign on the register but they have an ATM by the door with only a $2.50 service fee so I was able toget cash. I can?t wait to come back to try other dishes here!
