I went to the Halloween costume party yesterday with Cheryl and the Usual Suspects playing. The band is awesome! The people... there to eat dinner, sing, and dance are happy. I ordered the Hen in a Pot (U.S. calls it chicken pot pie.) It came with thick,yummy mashed potatoes. I ordered a side salad. Everything was huge and delicious! I had to box up 2/3rds to take home. We had eaten at Fiddlers Green Pub previously and it didn?t leave a good impression on me. Fast forward a year & I?m glad we... gave them a second chance. The dinner entree(especially the potato wedges) were fantastic. But the chocolate cake was to diefor! My mouth has started watering just thinking about it! Had the fish and chips which were absolutely fantastic. The fish was beautifully battered, cooked and the wedges were seasoned... to perfection. Staff was friendly and personable. Went on St. Paddy's Day for lunch. It was slammed, but DAMN if they weren't hustling!! The outside beer tent had ice cold... authentic pints while you waited. I?m a big fan of real Irish Pubs and when I saw Fiddlers Green, I had to give it a try. The decor is definitely that of a real... pub. I always try and sit at the bar, because you always get the best service from the bartenders. Of course I started with aglass of Guinness and ordered Shepherds Pie. The beer had way more foam than I?m use to, but the Pie came quick and wasgood. I learned during my meal, if I?d waited a little while, Guinness is $3 off during happy hour. I didn?t see any fooddiscounts during happy hour, but I plan to go back after 4:00 and check it out. Read more

I recommend coming here for appetizers and drinks! I came here with some friends and our table got the smoked salmon and... Scottish egg. The service was really great and the food was delicious. Unfortunately it was really crowded and they were missingthe items we wanted on the menu, so we ended up going elsewhere for dinner. Looking forward to coming back again and trying thebread pudding!
