Ordering online was easy and the pictures were a nice reference but there wasn?t as many pastries online to choose from as in... store. They have savory and sweet options. The pastry crusts were flaky and light and tasted good. Recommend if you?re in thearea! Read more

Super clean and friendly staff. I had the savory tomato & cheese pastry. It was everything you want in a pastry! Heavenly!... Light, flaky, buttery, pefect cheese filling and the cherry tomatoes were delicious! This is my new go-to brunch in a crunchspot for Winter Park. Everything is made fresh in house daily. Do keep in mind most of their seating is outdoors. Read more

The puff pastry is wonderful, light, buttery, and tons of layers that flake and are crispy. Great little mom and pops bakery.... The place was neat and clean. No indoor seating just outside in the front and on the side with limited parking out front on thestreet. Some parking in the back. There is not much room on the inside to only like 6 people at a time. The staff was notfriendly but not rude just kind of there. Everything looked wonderful, and the three items we got were outstanding ????. Ilook forward to going back and trying all the different things they have to offer. Read more

Not my first visit here but first review because BANOFFEE PIE. Everything I?ve ordered has always been great but that pie was so... perfect! The croissant tart was delicious also after a 5 second zap in the microwave to get it warm. I try not to revisitbakeries when I treat myself but I can?t help coming back to Buttermilk. Just go! One of the hole-in-the-wall gems of Winter Park, Buttermilk Bakery is a quaint, beautiful little bakery that hides along the... shops on the strip on Orange Ave. Mindful of both form and function, they know how to make delicious and decadent pastries, bothsavory and sweet. I'm incredibly impressed with the incredible eye to detail in everything. Some items are even made gluten-freeas to make them a little bit less 'guilty' since it's hard to contain oneself when faced with the choices this placeoffers. Their ordering function on the website is incredibly useful and is accurate in depicting what is in stock and whatisn't. I recommend using this feature to place your order prior to you arriving in order to guarantee getting what you want. Youcan bet with a place as good as this that the most desired items will be sold first. With the savory croissant tarts, all of theelements involved are carefully thought out and treated appropriately. The mushroom tart for example has mushrooms that areperfectly cooked and a decent enough size to get a flavour pop, which is enhanced by the smoked cheddar that accompanies it. TheCalabrian chili that's on the tomato tart is the perfect component to balance the earthiness of the tomato with the savourinessof the cheese and croissant. The Kouign-amann pastry is one of the sweet items that everybody must try from Buttermilk Bakery. Simple, yet not simple is it's technique and execution, but delicious and has a greater depth of flavor than you would expectout of this little package. I'm not sure if there's a schedule to what items get made what day, but I enjoy variety enough toappreciate a rotating menu to always try something new and exciting. The baklava croissant is a well-executed and interestingspin on the original and I enjoyed it. I hope that everybody who comes here and tries what they have to offer walks away assatisfied and happy as I have. Read more

Best bakery in town. Freshly made pastries with the best ingredients, which really comes through in the flavor. I cannot... recommend this place enough. Menu essentially changes daily, with some staples normally being available all the time , but youcan always look forward to delicious seasonal items as well. Highly recommend it. Order early, or risk being left out! Read more

I visit this place for the first time about 6 months ago, and it left a good impression. The first time I had their delicious... vanilla sprinkled brioche donut, their chocolate chip cookie, and some kind of seasonal berry cake. The brioche donut has adifferent taste to it that's different from traditional donuts, and is delicious. So that's the main thing I wanted on my secondvisit, but unfortunately they were out. I got their seasonal matcha passion fruit brioche donut, and I can say that it is indeedthe dough itself what makes their donuts so good. Their chocolate chip cookies are great as well. I consider myself a cookieaficionado/cookie monster, and I have to say, they make good cookies. If you like peanut butter, they make a really good peanutbutter cookie as well. The berry cake I got by mistake. I had asked for something else, and they gave me that instead, but itwas good as well. I'm not much of a cake person though. On my second visit I tried their cinnamon roll croissant bread puddingwith cream cheese frosting, and that was interesting and savory, and would recommend you try it. The interior of the place issmall, with some tables outside. They have a website where you can place your order, and see the availability of the menu. Irecommend you do, so you're not disappointed when you get there and they don't have the thing you wanted, like it happened tome. I like this little bakery, and even though is a bit of a drive, I'll be visiting it every other week if not a every month. Read more
