Good food if you want fast and Convenient bbq but certainly not the best or most authentic. I use to order from them all the... time but they recently changed their menus taking away the option to order brisket by the lb. But kept the option to order fullchicken and full racks of ribs! ???????? BRING BACK the brisket please!! There has also been consistency issues. My last coupleorders the brisket was crumbling and the slices would not stay intact I usually had to cut them with a knife. The flavor wasalso not as good as usual not sure if there is a new cook or if I just got a bad batch. I ordered the brisket platter and paidfor extra brisket as an add on(the only option now with the new menu) and this is the serving size I received! Now granted I have not eaten at 4Rivers in a very long time, years if I was actually counting. Probably not since it?s first... opening. Surely my memory serves me better than the two orders of brisket and sausage, an order of corn, and fried okra placedduring the non existent lunch rush. Apparently everything was cold before even getting to the car. One brisket order was fry asa bone. Neither was smoked. The okra tasted as though a box of salt was dropped in it. Great Place for Barbeque in Winter park This restaurant is located on the south side of W Fairbanks avenue about a mile to the... west of downtown Winter Park. It is located in a stand-alone building with a parking lot to the west and south of the building.The main entrance is on the west side of the building. The sign on the wall said that this was the flagship restaurant thatstarted in 2009 and has grown to 22 Florida locations. You can view the menu online, behind the counter or if they are availablewhile waiting in line by paper menus. You order at the counter where the staff writes your request on the craft paper thatfollows your order through the line. You pay at the end of the counter where your food is ready. There is indoor seating withtall and short tables in the middle of the main room and booths against the wall. There is a bakery for the sweet tooth in thecrowd and a semi-outdoor seating area separated by a roll-up garage door from the inside portion. Overall, the prices werereasonable, the staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the restaurant was clean. This is a great place to come if youare hungry for barbeque. Read more
Soooooo Good!! I tried a few other places that were good...but THIS was what I was waiting for! The place smells amazing as... you walk up and when you walk in! Their Saint Louis style ribs are fall off the bone and if you're one who loves to chew a bone(I know you're out there - don't hide??????) these rib bones WILL NOT disappoint!???? The environment is friendly and there's achoice of indoor and outdoor seating. The Mac and Cheese is perfectly creamy with just enough salt to flavor it!! Don't miss anopportunity to give this one a try. It was my first time and I'm DEFINITELY going back the next time I'm in Orlando. (Iexperienced the Winter Park location - Loved everything about it!) This is our favorite 4 Rivers Smokehouse for lunch during the weekend. This location has plenty of seating space both indoors... and outdoors along with ample parking. The food is very good and satisfying. Read more
