Reviews for Lime - An American Cantina in Winter Park, CO

My friends and I got chips and queso as an appetizer and the chips were tasty and salted the perfect amount but the queso tasted... exactly like the Alfredo sauce from Olive Garden but more watered down. I order the green chili and it was pretty good, I?dmaybe order it again. My friends both got the tortilla soup and they said ?it was decent but not great?. I would write a reviewabout the rice and beans but our server didn?t put the order in. Our drinks also took longer than the food which was weirdbecause the restaurant was empty and there were 3 people behind the bar. I?ve worked in restaurants for years and so have myfriends, so we know off nights happen, but based off of other reviews I felt the need to say something so management is aware. Read more

Best food in winter park! The ceviche was perfect, as well as the Ahi Salad. Only place in winter park we could find that had... lots of options that were fried food. Read more

No stars if I was offered that choice.. By far, THE WORST cantina style food I've ever had. Half witted ceviche with horrible... cuts. Stale corn torts on the street tacos with the driest, lack luster ingredients and tiniest portions I've seen. Bland, dull, and not very appetizing. Chips and salsa was about the only good part of our order which we ordered for apps with the cevicheand got half way thru our actual meal. AND LEMME TELL YOU ABOUT THE SERVICE. One table inside, 20 minutes to sit. 15 minutes fora greet. 10 more for our drinks to be delivered. Might have been the heroin or pain pills our server was on but wow, did shemake quite the impression. AND DONT FORGET THE 20% automatic gratuity for the not so awesome smile and service with a hop to it.My hopes were let down with this choice. Try the other options before you go here. Read more

Fairly mediocre food and drinks which may have gotten 3 stars, but the chips and salsa were terrible and the house margarita,... while well priced, was pretty weak. If you're gonna charge for chips and salsa, where most Mexican restaurants do not, at leastmake them good. Literally the most tasteless chips I've ever had, and a watered down soup of a salsa. Beyond that the servicewasn't great, but at this point I don't think it's fair to be critical of that. Everyone is dealing with workershortages. Maybe this is considered good Mexican in this area, but for me it wasn't worth the walk from our hotel. Read more

Happy hour house margaritas were a real treat along with couple other dishes we ordered. Big portions and quite flavorful!

If I could give zero stars I would. I usually read the reviews before going to a restaurant but I didn't this time. I don't... recommend this place at all. The waitress we had was also the bartender. She was so rude, and not to just us. I noticed that shewas being rude to other customers also. She only came to get drink orders, food and that was it. She never came to check on us,ask us how the food was or even refill our drinks! She walked away before my husband was done ordering. She didn't writeanything down so when my husband got his food it was all wrong. I told her maybe she should write it down if she couldn'tremember. The cook was super nice and said it was just a bad day, but from reading the other reviews that was NOT the case asthis is probably her normal attitude. We will NOT be going back to this establishment. Read more
