What an awesome experience! We had to go twice it was so good - we had the best waitress, Jordan, she was helpful, responsive... and friendly (let's be real, it is super important to know what your customers want from their experience and she did notdisappoint - thank you for making our time memorable). New in town…A great find! We stopped for a craft cocktail and apps and was so pleased we did! I could taste the violet flower... in the specialty- crafted gin for the Purple Daze; my husband had the Wildfire Bramble…both delicious! Also, the smoked wingsare the BEST I have ever had! I wish I could give Idlewild 10 stars! Best vegan food we have had in a while! We got the shishito peppers, the vegan sliders,... the vegan ravioli, and the vegan chocolate mousse. The chef is vegan and even came out to greet us! We also got several drinks,my husband got alcoholic mixed drinks and I got their mocktails. All of the drinks were super good! Great service, cozy vibes, delicious food and drinks. Our group of 5 randomly found Idlewild for lunch and everyone had a great... time. What an awesome place this is! Great atmosphere, phenomenal food and drinks. Staff was incredibly pleasant, positive and... helpful. Not only are their spirits exceptional, as odd as this sounds, the branding they've done on their glasses, bottles,etc. did not go unnoticed. I wanted to take each one of their glasses home with me! We were in Winterpark for the weekend, last weekend slopes were open. My husband wanted to try this place and we were not... disappointed. I had the strawberry fields salad, it could have used a little more flavor, but was fresh and tasted fine. Iordered chicken breast for the salad and they served it separately on a hot plate so that it would not get cold or wilt thesalad. My husband had the pulled pork sliders and Brussels sprouts. Sliders were good and the Brussels sprouts exceptional(and a huge serving of them!). Plenty to eat. I had the mule and my husband had the gin and tonic and we would suggest eitherof them.
