I've eaten here a few times. The menu is comfort food and Southern cuisine. There are some solid dishes here, but nothing... worth driving across town for. The decor is nice and the place is clean. There is an odd little arcade located inside therestaurant. The main drawback is the poorly trained wait staff. They are perfectly polite, just not trained to follow up ontables and anticipate needs. This was my first time eating here. The food was pretty good, my fish was fresh and delicious. Our server appeared a little... overworked but he done a good job. Overall, I enjoyed dinner and I'm sure we'll be back. I would recommend eating here ifsomeone asked. Read more

I've been here several times and it's always great. Service is excellent, food is wonderful. They have an extensive menu so... everyone in the group can find something they like. Quietly lit atmosphere and not too noisy, even when it's busy. Read more

I have been to the Sherwood twice, each time the wait staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The atmosphere is pleasant and... quiet. A good place for people who want to talk with one another. On this visit I ordered an appetizer instead of an entree. TheThai shrimp was very good the sauce tasty. I expected a bit more lettuce though. Read more

Suggested by my sister in law, this place is a true gem. We had a party of eight arriving at 7:00 p.m. We were seated, and food... was on the table by 7:20. Pecan Chicken, Ground Hamburger Steaks, Smoked Chicken Wings, Greek Salads and Cheeseburgers were onour list of must haves. They did not disappoint. You must eat here!!! Pictured is Steak Pavlo $14.25. It came with mashedpotatoes and I chose sautéed spinach. Read more

The Sherwood Experience (Dine-in Edition). I stumbled upon The Sherwood trying to eat at oSo Eats. I had called oSo Eats several... times and rode by and saw they were closed. So I googled and read the owners shifted to The Sherwood, and I was excited to see aresemblance of oSo Eats when I viewed The Sherwood menu. On this day, I ordered the Yasou Salad. The Yasou comes with freshgreens, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, olives, pepperoncini, dried cranberries, crumbled feta cheese, and topped with Greekvinaigrette. I also ordered their soup of the day, which was like a southwest chicken soup. I asked for water to drink but foundthe cup to have a film inside, so the waiter brought me a paper cup. While waiting for my food, I went to the restroom to washmy hands, and the bathroom did appear clean. I also noticed smiling faces from the workers. I honestly was made to feel like Ihad eaten there before or as if they knew who I was. So that was a plus for the experience. Once my food arrived, I dove in andenjoyed everything. Would I go back to the Sherwood? Yes, I would go back. I found the staff friendly and pleasant, and Ienjoyed my food. Read more

I had the pecan chicken. It was served over a delicious sweet potato casserole & I got collard greens for my side. It was so... good & very reasonably priced at around $11 for the plate. My daughter had the South Philly which was equally as delicious, large portion & reasonably priced. Our server, Max, was awesome & an excellent server; we give him 5 stars too! We willdefinitely be back. Read more
