This was my first time eating here. The food was pretty good, my fish was fresh and delicious. Our server appeared a little... overworked but he done a good job. Overall, I enjoyed dinner and I'm sure we'll be back. I would recommend eating here ifsomeone asked. Read more

I have been to the Sherwood twice, each time the wait staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The atmosphere is pleasant and... quiet. A good place for people who want to talk with one another. Suggested by my sister in law, this place is a true gem. We had a party of eight arriving at 7:00 p.m. We were seated, and food... was on the table by 7:20. Pecan Chicken, Ground Hamburger Steaks, Smoked Chicken Wings, Greek Salads and Cheeseburgers were onour list of must haves. They did not disappoint. You must eat here!!! I've eaten here a few times. The menu is comfort food and Southern cuisine. There are some solid dishes here, but nothing... worth driving across town for. The decor is nice and the place is clean. There is an odd little arcade located inside therestaurant. The main drawback is the poorly trained wait staff. They are perfectly polite, just not trained to follow up ontables and anticipate needs.
