First, clean and great service. Second, it's located on Hanes Mall Blvd, but easy to access -> right next to the I-40... ramps. You can order anything here and be happy. The seafood dishes are higher than other Mexican restaurants I've been to.However, you get what you pay for. I've been many times and never left a review, well... My photos show the California Burritoand a side of beans and rice. Each seem portioned for two people... I ate half sitting and half later. Great value: to enjoyfresh and get a takeout meal. Did I mention their chips and salsa... I am now. Very smooth. I'll update my review withsomething from the drink menu in the future. I've always been able to get a table without waiting... But, part of me wants thatto change. Don Tequila's should be far busier than it's competitors around Hanes Mall because their food and experience issuperior. Try it for yourself and you'll have the same questions... But you'll be totally satisfied. Read more

The carne asada was really good, and the burrito was good. Not the best, but it wasnt bad! Overall a nice experience!

Suggested to us by the Hampton next door... my high hopes faded after I walked through the door. I would rather have Mexican... decor than an overload of signs about Taco Tues and $2 Tequila shots, hung from the ceiling and plastered all over the wall. Themenu was pretty standard and the portions seemed reasonable, but I must have just picked two items smothered in the same quesothat made it taste exactly the same. I rate this location 5 out of 5 perfect stars! I've never eaten at this location before and I was highly impressed by my... experience. For starters, this place is extremely clean, neat and tidy. The staff here makes sure that as soon as customers aredone with eating their meals, that the tables are quickly cleaned for that area. I decided to dine in, since I've never eatenhere before. I didn't have a heavy appetite so I decided to get the chicken taco salad, one of my all time favorite dishes. Ialso ordered a soft drink. While I was waiting for my entrée, my waitress brought me a small basket of tortilla chips with somefreshly made salsa. It took less than 10 minutes for me to receive my entrée. My taco salad was filled to the top of dicedtomatoes, shredded lettuce, Mexican shredded cheese, moist shredded chicken and refried beans. I absolutely enjoyed all of myfood.
