It's a great shop that's doing great things. By just going in to play or spend time with the cats you are donating to the... organization and care of the animals. The environment is peaceful. The staff is great. The quarters are extremely clean and thecats are lovely, too. All of the cats available are ready for forever homes. Although there was no pressure to do so, I willdefinitely consider adoption from this agency. You can tell the staff really care about what they do. Read more

If you love cats, this is definitely a wonderful way to spend some time. Plus you're helping the organization that is helping... the felines ???? You do *not* have to be looking for a companion to spend time in this café. The entrance fee is extremelyreasonable for the amount of joy it can offer and the resources for the animals. You can book a session online or do a walk-in.Note: walk-ins are only available if the café isn't already completely booked for the hour. Tip: book for your entire group atone time. The space was designed to be both cat & human friendly: Plently of places for you to sit. Lots of places for the catsto run, play, sleep, or hide. Tons of toys for you to use to interact with the cats. While its tempting to pick a cat up, I lovethat they don't allow you to do so. It really speaks the mission of the organization. You can also purchase a beverage or snackat the little café in back. If you happen to fall in love with a feline, you can put in an application to adopt! While Iapplaud non-profit, no kill organizations for their work on fostering and holding adoption fairs, this Cat Café really adds alevel of ease, enjoyment, and reduced pressure to the potential process. What a lovely place of respite in the heart of Downtown Winston-Salem! My group of myself and two others visited on a Sunday... afternoon right as they opened - and what a treat it was! The staff is incredibly friendly and engaging; they were there toshare in our squeals of adoration and answered any questions with friendly answers! The café has a great selection of coffees,some really delicious and moist pre-packaged vegan cookies, and trinkets/souvenirs from local artists for sale! (I personallysnagged an awesome Crooked Tail sticker for my journal - only a buck!) You?re also able to consume your snacks and drinks in thesame room as the cats, but seating is available in the café area! (Just make sure you don?t let any cats in!) The cats hereare the true joy and soul of the cafe! They are so friendly, so willing to cuddle, and rambunctious enough to provide many goodlaughs! Best of all? All the cats you interact with are available for adoption! Imagine that! You could find the cat of yourdreams here - and you will! The pricing is fantastic too. We paid roughly $11 for an hour?s worth of time with the fun and furryfelines. The Crooked Tail Cat Café is one of Winston-Salem?s great treasure. Whether you spend an hour or the whole day,you?ll come away with appreciation for these magnificent animals, phone storage full of adorable cat pics, and just maybe a newfriend and companion!
