My friend and I found ourselves in Winston-Salem on Thanksgiving Day. We wanted a good meal and went to this place a little.... After 3:00. There were people eating and enjoying their meal but they were closed. A brief conversation with the manager and wewere granted a table and all the trimmings with great service and wonderful food. These are good people and the food isexcellent. I highly recommend it. Read more

Great atmosphere, clean and neat. Service was excellent!. Salad bar was plentiful, lots of variety and delicious. Soup was... amazing. Meat service was excellent. The gauchos came every five minutes after we sat down. Bacon wrapped chicken was toosalty, pork was dry. Lamb was excellent. Beef was little more rare than I like so I just ate the edges. I think they have hotbar also but we were nit shown where it is. Grilled pineapple was delicious. I will be going back for sure Read more

I have eaten here a total of 3 times now over the past 2 years. The first two times were great but this last time was sub-par.... We are used to being served bread when we are seated. This time we were told that policies had changed and you only get bread ifyou ask for it. When I made the dinner reservation I noted that we were celebrating a birthday. The birthday was notacknowledged even though we mentioned it to our waitress. At the end of our meal we asked about the cinnamon pineapple that wesaw on the website. We were told that it's their free dessert and that you only get it if you ask for it. When our final billcame we noticed that we were not priced according to the advertising on the website ($38 if seated before 6pm). When I broughtthis to the attention of the waitress she gave a "you caught us" smile and said that she will fix it and that you have tospecifically ask to be given that price. I'm not sure if the restaurant is under new management but these new "policy changes"do not make guests feel valued. Instead they make guests feel like they are bothering the wait staff to receive advertised itemsand prices. I don't see myself dining here again in the future. Read more

We celebrated my nephew’s birthday this evening. We all had a wonderful time. Our server did a great job explaining and... answering questions for all of us 1st time diners. The salad bar and hot bar were very good. Loved the Brazilian chicken saladand Brazilian potato salad. A few of the meats were just too salty for my taste but overall I really enjoyed the meats and thevariety they have. One of my favorites were the lamb kabob. Read more

MEATS: Let me start off by saying I had high expectations for this place because I thought it would be equivalent to Fogo De... Chao. If you come here with those expectations, you'll be let down fairly hard. I tried over 10 different cuts of meat that weregoing around throughout the evening, but each one was unbearingly salty. I think I must've drank at least 5 or 6 cups of waterto help dilute the saltiness. That basically sums up my experience here. Some of the meats were cooked well-done, other meatswere cooked medium rare. Honestly, it was a toss-up for which rareness of meat you were going to recieve. BUFFET BAR: They haveblack beans, rice, asparagus, balsamic mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, chicken noodle soup, collared greens, cheese, smokedsalmon, and salads with toppings. DESSERT: The cheesecake was AMAZING. The restaurant really caters towards special requests, such as anniversaries. Kudos to them! DRINKS: The drinks are PHENOMENAL. I had 2 cocktails, the Caipirinha ($11.00) and theBlueberry Mule ($11.00). Both drinks were fairly strong, so you know that you're getting the bang for your buck. The Caipirinhawas sweet but not overbearingly sweet and had a fresh, rich flavor. The Blueberry Mule tasted exactly how it sounds like. Bothwere exceptional drinks. SERVICE: The service here is FANTASTIC. The hostess was friendly and accomodating since it was myfirst time here, The servers carrying around the cuts of meat are also friendly as well. If you've never been to a Braziliansteakhouse before, the employees at Cowboy will make you feel like you're home and answer all of your questions. I was worriedthat the servers wouldn't come around to the table that often, but they showed up every 2 minutes or so. DRESS CODE: There isno dress code here. My significant other and I dressed up for a nice evening out, but we were extremely overdressed at thisrestaurant. The other customers were wearing jeans, t-shirts, and hoodies. PARKING: No parking lot. Stre Read more

Second Brazilian Steakhouse we have been to and this one came out on top of the two. Me and my wife were a big fan of 95% of the... meat brought to our table by the gauchos. Service was lacking a little by our server but I can't really count off much for thatduring Covid. I realize everyone is short staffed and what they have are overworked. The salad bar and cold bar was excellentand they had a large variety of choices. We used Groupon which was a great deal. We will definitely return, Groupon or not.Would have taken more pictures with the meats that were available but once they started coming the feast took over my cameratime. Read more
