We have a 9ft van and they have 9ft clearance signs that look shorter than that. Both lanes had damage to their signs from... people hitting them. The drive thru roof looks like it's about 12 ft or higher. So many Cook Outs exclude a good portion oftheir customer base by only allowing people in cars as there are no lobbies and improperly marked clearance in the drivethroughs. Read more
Literally makes me never want to visit another cookout in my life and I live across the street from one. Fries were not... seasoned, wait til for the regular window was 20 minutes... literally and there were only 3 cars in front of me. Hot dog hadbarley any toppings and there were no napkins. I first want to say that the person taking my order was quite rude. Trust me, I work in fast food, too, but there is no reason... you should be rude to the customer when they're not even being rude to you. Second, I asked for a double chocolate shake. I seeit on my ticket, yet I got a peanut butter shake, which isn't even on the ticket. I'm very disappointed with how my order wastaken and the fact that I didn't get what I'd asked for. My first visit here, my burger was raw ????. Yet, the onion rings, hot dogs, and banana pudding milkshakes are delicious.... Anticipate a longggg line, especially at night. The prices are decent and the staff have been friendly thus far. Read more
Usually I don't complain about my food like ever but this is the worst cookout I have ever been to. When I'm road tripping it's... an easy stop. I don't know if the girl misheard me or what but my burger was completely wrong and wasn't cooked very well. TheCajun fries were the most mediocre I have ever had, some of them weren't even warm. The chicken nuggets felt like McDonald'schicken nuggets that had been overcooked. The girl at the window I guess forgot about my drink and tried to wave me on. I didlike that they automatically put honey mustard and ketchup in my bag though. Overall $10 for my tray and mid food as a brokecollege student sucked. Read more
Outstanding service!! We have a large family and are used to getting orders that are not quite what we ordered. The young lady... taking our order was very polite and patient as we ordered 7 trays. She then read it back to ensure accuracy (rare nowadays butgreatly appreciated). She had it correct so we pulled forward. To our surprise, she immediately started passing our drinks ANDfood out the window once paid!! They were pretty busy on this day and we had better service than other places when we're theonly customers. This will be our go-to Cookout now that we live in Winston-Salem. Read more
Heard how good this place was so tried it. The hamburger is legit. The hot dog, not so much. It was overcooked. The fries,... hushpuppies, cheese curds and onion rings were good. The banana pudding milkshake was very good, including the little pieces ofvanilla wafers. Joey V says, pass on the hot dog, everything else is worth checking out. Read more
Cook out was one of my fav fast food places to go but now instead of a tray u get a small box with half the food as before, even... the hush puppies aren't whole anymore, they are like hush puppy fries. Maybe it was just the one we went to but usually they allchange. Very disappointed. Read more
