Not bad for the prices. The smoke wings were good. Prefer a little more crispy. The green beans were sooooo good. The ribs,... sausage, chicken and turkey were smoked and flavorful. I tried white coleslaw which is not made with traditional mayo. It?s ok.The vinegar give it a nice taste. Will try again if in area. Read more
This is probably one of the very few times I had a tough time with what meat I liked the most. The pictures do not do this plate... of marvelous meat justice. The ribs came off the bone gently and packed with smokey goodness. The brisket was so good with somelight bark that I chose it's leftovers over desert that evening. The pork was great as well but the true talent is in thebrisket and ribs which is worth a 300 mile trip alone. Outside seating that's nice but the inside you have to experience totruly appreciate with video games at tables and all around. Amazing experience you have to try. Read more
Amazing melt in your mouth Brisket and tender smokey pulled pork. This place has the most wonderful BBQ I have had in a while.... The meat was not as fatty as I like but I am sure people really like that about the place. The cashier/order taker was nice andinformative. She really knows her menu. The sides were delicious as well. The hushpuppies were delicious too. The potato saladwas a little sweet but it really complimented the BBQ meats. I enjoyed playing Tetris and Contra at my table. The Sega was sucha great blast from the past. I would return here weekly if I didn't live a couple hundred miles away. Read more
Really cool place to eat. The food was amazing! We got there around 4 on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't very crowded. We... were quickly seated, the waitress was very nice and it wasn't long until we got our food. The mac and cheese is to die for!!! Very reasonably priced for the quality. Read more
Downtown on an beautiful sun lit day having a few drinks, and stopped by. Not a huge fan of BBQ, but the establishment's pulled... pork plate definitely hit the stop. Nicely smoked but a tad sweet. Texas- Pete an some salt made it over the top, has a nicebar. Booths near by, had a rather nice BAR-CADE area. Well done out-door area over looking some of the art district. The placewill not disappoint. Would recommend if your a fan of pork. There's places to park on the left side of the front door and ifthe area is full you can find parking on little ways down on the left. Enjoy Read more
Well that was a delicious meal, my heart disagrees. Hush puppies and pickles were as good. The loaded fries with pulled pork I'd... re-order. The sweet potato hash browns have sugar added as served. Last time we were in Winston we had lunch at Camel City BBQ. It?s a massive space with 3 separate levels and plenty to do for... all ages. Upstairs is a kids area with an arcade and other games. It?s a ?Turn it to 11? level of noise up there so if you don?thave kids stay downstairs. The food and BBQ is solid. We tried some appetizers like Bang Bang Shrimp and Fried Pickle Chips.For entrees, Brisket plate (Meat & 2 with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans) was good and the sides were worthy. We also tried thePork Plate and Rodeo Burrito and they were good. There?s also a great beer selection on tap. There?s a small parking lotadjacent to the restaurant and a pay lot across the street. Service was good and friendly. Overall, this is a big place gearedto watching sports and playing family games with solid food. Read more
