Besides the flies buzzing around and the pretending that they were not around...the floor was dirty and the service was lazy,... the menus were sticky and the tables were not the cleanest....yet, we decided against better judgment to stay and eatanyhow...The food was just okay at best. Came in around 5pm, absolutely no one running the store. I called the phone number twice, no one picks up the phone. I waited... about 5 minutes and left. Terrible way to run a business. Read more
It's been a long time since I have been to a great Waffle House. Employees were loud carrying on with off the clock employees... that were just hanging out. This kind of environment detracts from what a great Waffle House could be. Read more
OH MY, I can?t begin to describe how nasty this place was! Everything was covered with something? dust, grease, trash? you can... take your pick and there was a lot of leaning and standing around when cleaning needed to be done! To make matters worse, on theday we arrived, this WAFFLE HOUSE was just a HOUSE! The House of Waffles was OUT OF WAFFLES!!!! How does a place with ?waffles?literally in its name run out of waffles???? I almost walked out but my other choices in that area were pretty bleak as well. Iordered a patty melt and the part of the sandwich that was laying against the plate was inedible. It was so greasy that thebread was soggy and mushy and my hash browns were undercooked. Excellent service and good food! Limited seating and parking space but it?s because you don?t have to wait to long for the food.... Cool jukebox with a wonderful selection of music to play while you wait. I would definitely recommend you stop in and grab somebreakfast food! Read more
The three stars are for the cooks who done a fantastic job. The missing two stars is for our waitress who seemed like she would... rather be anywhere else. I?m not used to seeing that in a Waffle House. I want to add just from observation that the folksprepping the food had no one to back up with clean plates and items from the back. There was not toilet paper in the bathroom.I?m hoping that this was just an off day for this Waffle House and things will smooth out in the future for them. Read more
