I can't stress enough how much we love this restaurant. We had the pleasure to dine there tonight, it was our second time... visiting. We took my father in law for a special meal together because he will be back to Texas in a couple of days. We atedelicious food and loved the atmosphere there. Our server was extremely kind, her name was Emily. Also the bartender was supersweet, unfortunately I didn't ask for her name, I'm sorry for that. In my humble opinion is the best restaurant in Winona. Ilove that they had vegetarian options for my daughter and I. Best stuffed chicken breast ever! Excellent pasta dish and flavorful pheasant wontons. Beautiful views. Peaceful quiet setting... on "porch." Service was good at beginning of meal and then slacked off a Lot! But I'll definitely return. Read more
Visited again July 9, 2022. The four cheese ravioli was wonderful. The sauce was simply sublime. The fish tacos were good but a... bit bland. It could use some lemon tarragon mayonnaise to bring it to life. The creme boules was exquisite. Somewhatdisappointed with the disappearance of the white table clothes. But with food this good, it's easy to overlook minutiae. Wentback on July 1, 2018. The setting is as beautiful as ever. The pheasant was not all that great. Hope this is not a trend. April24, 2021. The food was very good. Nice atmosphere during the pandemic with great wait staff and good protocols during thepandemic. We went back on June 26, 2021. I ordered duck as the main course. It was terrible, I almost sent it back, but did notdue to the fact that sending something disrupts the flow of the meal for everyone at the table. The duck was way undercooked,and could flown off the plate. Someone else at the table also got the duck and subsequently got sick. She took about half theduck home and her dog got sick on the stuff as well. We were disappointed with our visit. Read more
I did have a nice meal here once before. However, we called ahead this time to see if we could bring our dog to the patio, and... were told yes.. only to be turned away when we got there cause they said service dogs only. That was not specified on the call.Just want it to be cleared up amongst employees please. Edit: very quick response by the manager, saying they would notifystaff. This is a wonderful place to dine! Everything from the white linen table cloths to the fresh roses at each table is first class.... The view out to the golf course is stunning. Menu was not large but something for every taste. The duck breast was great. Thewine list was much better than usually offered. The 2015 Barolo was supperior. Salads very crisp and fresh. For desert the cremebrule was the best I've had. It's a shame there are not 6 stars to give. 5/21/22 Another perfect meal. Walleye was sooo good. Ihad the Seafood Fettuccine, absolutely delicious. Update: 10/2021 This place is still excellent, cheerful, and one of the best places to eat when we visit our college student who... ALWAYS orders the chicken pot pie. COVID protocols are more relaxed now, but appropriately so. Excellent food and service.Brittany was cheerful and helpful. Our walleye tacos, 19th hole burger and pot pie were excellent as were the regional beers. AND their COVID-19 protocols were excellent. Masks were worn, paper or laminated menus that were clean. This was unbelievable! I cannot over emphasize how tasty the food was - and fantastic portions, too! Service was really... astoundingly good. Very attentive, kept our glasses full, and made great recommendations. Our group made a variety of orders andyou absolutely cannot go wrong. I would highly recommend the fried pickles - these things were unlike any other fried picklesyou?ve ever had the pleasure of trying. If gourmet and fried pickles could be used in the same sentence, this would be the time.Beau was our server and he did an amazing job. Excellent food, beautiful place, the view is stunning, so if possible I hope you may choose to eat outside. Our waitress was... very kind. They have vegetarian options in their dinner menu, starts at 5pm. The only thing we didn't like was how long it tookfor our food to be ready. We took my father in law for aspecial meal together because he will be going back to Houston, TX in a couple of days. We wanted to enjoy a moment togethersurrounded by nature and be able to eat delicious food outside. Signatures has a beautiful garden and it was the best choice forour family of 5. The weather was great, our server Emma was the sweetest, also the bartender girl whom unfortunately I didn?task for her name was super kind. Our food was ready in no time. We had cheese curds for the first time, please order them, theyare scrumptious ???? My daughter and I were able to order vegetarian options from their menu. My veggie burger was huge anddelicious. My daughter order the ravioli and she loved it. My husband, father in law and son also enjoyed tremendously theirfood. We can't wait to go back.
