Came here for their incredible and amazing Omakase night. You are truly missing out if you haven?t had Chef Ed Lam?s food when... he can go nuts and offer you his best. This is the best sushi place in Winnipeg on a regular basis, so this night tops it all. Read more

Another great dining experience in Winnipeg. Fast, friendly service. The restaurant was very clean and well staffed. The online... menu (accessible through a qr scan at each table) offers something for everyone. We shared the gyoza, and 3 rolls (dynamite, butterfly and spicy lobster). The food came quickly. Prices were very reasonable. Parking was very good as well. We willdefinitely be back! Read more

The food here was good and better than all other Japanese restaurants in the area! Also it doesn't seem to have many options in... the area anyways but the quality and taste of this sushi was pretty good. I would recommend them due to their good fishquality. Read more

Food was great! Service was awesome! Love the sashimi! Will come back here next time for lunch to try their Ramen and Udon. They... only serve those for lunch. This might be my fave Japanese resto here in Winnipeg. Read more

I can understand the highly positive reviews because the food here is good but most of it is exaggerated in my opinion.... Everything we had was good but not awesome, specially for the price. Total bill was 120+ with taxes and tip. The ramen wasspicy, broth could have been richer and was lacking a bit of that miso umami taste but good enough and noodles were also goodbut overall cannot be compared to Ramen Takeuma. Deluxe Chirashidon was good, higher quality fish than most sushi places andhands down better than Blufish because at Yujiro they season their sushi rice properly. Blue Marlin and Toro Nigiri were a bitunderwhelming, maybe I had really high expectations but it was just ok, Unagi Nigiri was good, tempura was not as good as Ithought, even the dipping sauce was too light for my taste. Would I recommend Yujiro? A definite yes but dont get overly hypedby most of the reviews and lower your expectations a bit and you should be fine as long you are prepared to pay for higherquality sushi. Read more

Edit. After years of avoiding we returned for sushi. It was fine. Like the staff this visit and like the ambiance. However... everyone ordered ramen except for us. It?s only offered for lunch. The lunch time sushi bento was affordable and good. Mightreturn but not in a hurry. This place, where do I begin. I have tried it 10 times, thinking I ordered the wrong things. Thefish fillets I have ordered always have tons of bones (black cod, salmon, and makerel). The sushi is flavorless, the rice isbasic, and the service is so-so. I recently went for lunch and spent $40 on a tiny piece of bony cod fish and some salad(dressing was OK) Decided to add this part- the server asked me how the meal went and I mentioned I was surprised with thebones. She then said it was unusual for the black cod to be bony. Read more

Delicious sushi at this restaurant. First time trying this place. We had a couple different tuna sashimi, hamachi sashimi,... tuna gomae, caterpillar roll, avocado and salmon roll and miso soup. Preparation and presentation was excellent. Really freshingredients. Loved the flavours. Staff were friendly and attentive. Smaller restaurant. Food was brought out very quickly -almost no wait time at all. Parking lot in front of the building is pretty small on Grant avenue. Easy to find this place. They had a good selection of appetizers - including tempura dishes. Some options for vegetarians as well. Would recommendtrying this place if you like sushi. Read more
