I loved the 2 for 1 promo currently held by Wayback Burgers recently. The Classic Burger had probably the freshest lettuce and... tomato I've ever eaten. Also, I had the Chicken BLT and love that they invert their buns as this shows great creativity! Therestaurant itself was spotless. The quality of the food was perfect. The burgers tasted authentic and I wasn't disappointed in the quality for the price you... paid. Some places the burgers are really and the fries are often lacking. Not at Wayback, I was pleasantly surprised that thefries tasted as good as they did. The staff was excellent in their service. I went for lunch with my spouse. We got the cheesy burger and the classic. Both burgers were good. The cheesy burger had a nice... crisp bun. Man oh man did I love this food. I came with my fellow boy scout troop and we ate the very good food. The food was so immaculate... the only thing I wish for this holiday season is for khris kringgle, ol' saint nice, good old father Christmas, bringer of X-boxslayer of elk to deliver me the delight that is bear stack poutien. I paid $26 for a double cheeseburger with mushrooms, grilled onions and chipotle mayo along with a side of mac&cheese bites. I... received burnt-beyond-recognition patties and nonexistent toppings and sauce. The whole burger was the size of a McDouble. Thebites were meh. The pics on their website lie. My husband's dinner was equally disappointing. All together $52 dollars fortwo burgers, a poutine and mac&cheese bites....This was our very first time trying Wayback Burgers and it will be our very last. I do not recommend this restaurant. This was the most fresh grilled chicken burger i ever had in my life. It was delicious. So i ordered grilled Buffalo chicken... burger with the side of fries and drink. Buger's size is little small but it you compare taste with it. It was decent. However,fries was a large portion so it balanced out. All in all, 5 stars. Takeout order for Cheesy Burger(pepper jack), Chilli Cheese Fries, Dbl Bacon Cheeseburger(no onion), Irish Nachos, iced tea &... Tangerine Lemonade. Cheesy burger? Top-tier. Toasted bun was buttery and crisp. Cheese to meat ratio was perfect. Every bitehit right. Chilli cheese fries ? chilli was good, good fry coverage down to the bottom. Dbl bacon cheeseburger ? Bacon wasperfect crunch/chew. Patty was seasoned and cooked right. Veg was fresh. Not overly condimented(is that a word?). Definitely ahearty burger. Irish Nachos(pictured) ? these were fn delicious. Completely surprised by this one for real. Chips were madein-house, perfectly fried/salted. Taco meat was A+. Onions and Jalapeños were just strong enough to bring it all togethernicely. Great burger joint. The gluten free bun is probably one of the best in Winnipeg. The hamburger patties are delicious. I loved... the music and the seconds hand on the clock turns backwards: brilliant. I wish I'd found this place sooner. Read more
