I stopped in to have a bite during an overnight layover while staying at a nearby hotel. It was a bit confusing whether or not I... could seat myself, but the bartender came up and greeted me within a couple mins. Here on business in Winnepeg Canada for 3rd time this summer. Great food, atmosphere. I like the beef spare rib and duck leg... with Guinness nitro can or a good IPA on tap. Airport hotel restaurant sure, but I don’t feel I need to justify, explain ordefend eating there. I still bounce around Winnepeg with workmates but this is my favorite while I’m here. Read more

My first visit at this restaurant and even though the food was pretty good I doubt I will be back. The airport location is a bit... out of the way but the main deterrent for me was the complete lack of ambiance. The restaurant is right next to a fairly busywalkway and has windows all around. I felt pretty uncomfortable with people walking by and literally staring into my plate.Maybe tinting the windows might solve this problem? The restaurant had more of a cafeteria vibe rather than a higher scalerestaurant. The food...nice presentation, pretty good but nothing that made me say wow. Consistently great food and service! Every time we have gone here for dinner (I think this was our fourth time), the food has... been prepared beautifully, the flavours paired nicely, the service polite and attentive, and the portions and prices impressive.I can honestly say that some of my favorite dishes I have ever had in Winnipeg have been at The Blue Marble. The atmosphere isvery nice and calm, and I enjoyed the choice of music playing over the speaker while we dined, so that's a bonus. I will bethinking of that dessert for a long time: Banana bread french toast with apple cinnamon ice cream...mmmm! We will definitely beback. Read more
