Different than what I expected. This store also sells puzzles and legos. The waffle burger was good and priced decently.

i came in today with one other person and we both ordered the masala chai and a power tofu waffle sandwich! the tea came in a... HUGE cup, which, for the cheap price, was a great deal. plus, it was some of the best masala chai i?ve had in winnipeg. we werein there chit-chatting and enjoying our order for an hour and a half and the shop owner was perfectly pleasant. he is asweetheart and gave us a delightful experience! If I could give this place 10 stars I would! We ordered caramel tea, black tea and rooibos chai tea. The caramel tea tasted and... smelled like dessert in a cup. Oolong tea and chai tea were full bodied and full of flavour. The tea were served in a HUGE cupso we had ALOT to savour. Now where do I begin with the waffles! I ordered the chimichurri waffles and death by waffles. Myfriends ordered ceasar waffle and Banana cream waffle. To say they were simply delicious would be the understatement of theyear. They were so full of flavour and stuffed full of delicious goodness. No skimping here! It's a steal for the cheap price!Chocolate waffle was good but oh my... You HAVE to try the banana cream one. If I could give zero I would! I have attempted to try Tea Story 3 times now, every time they are closed despite their hours... online and on the door stating they are open (I show up an hour or so after the open time). Do they not value their customerstime? I will not be trying for a forth time as on this last occasion took the cake when I had run in with who I suspect is theowner! I parked in the marked Tea Story CUSTOMER 15 min spot and went to the store? closed! So I figured I would give it 15 minor so and peek in stores and go back to see if they?d opened. As I was walking around passing by my vehicle a man had hisvehicle parked behind mine and was looking at my vehicle. I checked if all was ok and he rudely told me to move my vehicle. Iasked if that was his spot he said ?yes it?s for the staff at tea story? I replied that it says for customers and I was justtrying the store and it was closed and I would return in a few min when open. He told me to move my car again. He said ?the spotis for staff, I put the wrong sign up?. I was dumbfounded. He does not value his customers at all. Read more
