I've loved Sal's since I was a little girl. Today we arrived maybe 10 minutes before they closed, which is apparently 2pm , the... most oddest time ever. The moment we walked in, the old woman yelled at us, waving her hands saying "no no we're closed!" andushered us out like we were a couple vagrants looking to cause trouble and ask for money. I've never been treated so terriblybefore, especially at a Sal's. The last time I was at this location I was in single digits for age, and I was excited to sortof relive that childhood memory, so thanks for ruining that experience with your disgusting treatment. A simple, polite, mentionthat they are closed would have sufficed, and maybe turning off the OPEN sign would have been much better customerservice. Will not put any effort into visiting this location ever again...lesson learned. Read more

Food is good but kinda expensive, in trying to upgrade their image they pushed away most regulars which brought in a lot of... outsiders seeing the social aspect that was diminished as the regulars were slowly stopping coming. Read more

*** YOU NEED TO STAY OPEN LONGER!!!! would lover to order more often but I never seem to catch you before 2pm closing time!!... Frustrating :( I actually heard you were changing your hours and staying open until 9pm, is that no longer happening? Besidesthe hours, the food is amazing, nothing like an cheese nip plus plate (or whichever you call it nowadays lol). Came here Saturday morning with my wife and kids. Mike was extraordinarily kind to our family. He was super patient since we... were disorganized and took forever trying to piece together our order. He let me know we qualified for a coupon and applied itto our order. He was so friendly and gave great service throughout our breakfast. He went out of his way to make my kids happyand give my son a really memorable experience. On top of that the place was clean and the food was fresh and delicious. We mighthave a new Saturday morning tradition after this amazing experience. Read more

We love this this Sals. The Express Sals are always the best, the staff is always friendly and helpful, the food always... delicious and there's something so satisfying about seeing your food cooked on the big classic grill right behind the counter.Harkens back to a simpler time, when "the usual" was a thing and first name basis was a compliment!
