Service here was good, staff were polite and food was served around 15 mins after I placed the order so reasonably fast. My wife... and I both love the Hakata Ramen, broth was rich and creamy, noodles were good but the charsiu was ok but not great. The Tsurairamen was a bit confusing for me, it was very spicy and the beef was not to my liking and the peppercorn numbing aftertaste waskinda weird. Probably need to try it again but it was really spicy! The Gyoza and Takoyaki were ok for the price. My goldstandard for ramen in Winnipeg is Ramen Takeuma and unfortunately based off the two ramens I tried at Saburo Kitchen I wonthesitate to choose the latter. Read more

I ordered the Katsudon. The pork was very tasty and the portion of this dish was a good size for me, not too much nor too... little. My one complaint is that the soup tasted and smelled weird to me so I didn?t drink it. It was also lukewarm. That beingsaid, I would visit again and give it another shot. Read more

Finished the chicken karaage Ramen before I thought about the pictures bit it was delicious. The chicken was well cooked and the... broth was great. Had just enough spice to tell you its there but not over powering if you have a weakness to it like I do lol.The pork katsudon was making as well though I filled up more on the Ramen so didn't quite finish all of it. The soup and porkwere delicious once again. Prices were reasonable and portion sizes were good. Will be recommending this place to friends. Read more

I ordered the kaarage ramen. It is very spicy...the menu just says miso broth and doesn't warn you. I wish I had read some of... these reviews before I went. Sigh. Way too spicy for me to eat or enjoy; instant heartburn and indigestion. I'm sure people wholike that kind of thing would enjoy it but I am annoyed the posted menu is not clearer. 40$ wasted and my mouth is stillburning. I am sure someone will comment that "it's not that spicy" but for someone who avoids spicy foods like a plague this wasunfortunate. I tried to eat it, I really did. The chicken that was completely soaked in the broth was edible (but too spicy). The pic is what I left behind. Read more

I?ve only had the chicken karaage ramen, but it?s pretty delicious. Has a nice kick to it. Order the chicken on the side so it... stays nice and crispy. Big selection of noodles and ramens. Plenty of seating. Great atmosphere. Read more

For me it is the best ramen soup in the city, without a doubt. The consistency of the broth and flavor is superior. This is... Hakata soup, around $16. It is based on belly pork broth, it has bamboo, Chinese onion, corn, egg and ramen noodles among otheringredients. For me it is the best, I usually go to Saburo just for this soup, however you will find a very interesting menu ofseveral other dishes. Read more

This place has a great fusion cuisine with decent portion sizes for the Ramen and Donburi. Cheesy garlic takoyaki is a decent... take on a classic if you're fan of cheese, if you're not, the sushi sandwich is a good alternative. Read more

Tasty tasty yum yum food. Very cosy vibe. I recommend the sushi sandwich + 2 appetizer. Or if you get the rice bowl, get 1... appetizer. Read more
