Finally a nice place to eat out for vegetarians and vegans! The food was delicious. I did not give 5 starts because of the... interior, the moment you enter it smells like an old library and not the tidiest, dusty and no proper ventilation and aircirculation. Went here for the first time recently and had a great dinner - the honey spicy chickun burger and the onion soup were both... great! Also had a great selection of local drinks, and we had great recommendations from our friendly server. We?ll be backagain. Read more
This was the first time eating at the Roughage Eatery, and it was overall a great experience. This is a 100% vegan restaurant... with comfort style food and they do a great job converting old familiar dishes into vegan menu options. The restaurant itselfis located in an old home that has been retrofitted to support a small dining area and kitchen which offers you old stylecomfort vibes and food. There is limited dining space available so may be worth calling ahead to ensure if you?re looking todine in that tables are available *Could be due to Covid-19 The service was friendly and the portion sizes were quite fairconsidering the additional costs vegan foods usual have. Parking can be tough due to it being located on Sherbrooke Avenue butthankfully this evening there were many open street spots available.
