Easily the best dining experience we've had since moving to the city. My wife and I shared the a half order of the charcuterie... board as an appetizer. It was fantastic... We failed to take pictures of our main courses but they were amazing too. (Beetgnocchi, smoked brisket) Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and her suggestions helped elevate our diningexperience. We will be back... And we look forward to trying out the rest of the menu ???????? Read more

We went on Wednesday when they had buck a shuck. It's a very comfortable setting. I was told the head chef is the original one... from peasant cookery. I've always enjoyed his food in the past. Service was generally very pleasant and professional except fortwo incidents which involved a serving staff, but we addressed that with management and they said they will look intoit.. Oysters on buck a shuck night 5 stars Vol au vent 4.25 stars Sauce was delicious. It's a very heavy dish. Seared duck 5stars This is the dish I'm still craving Duck cassoulet 3.5 stars This was not a favorite. It was fine, but maybe because theysubstituted the meat this time because they ran out, it wasn't the way it should be. As to one of the incidents... At one pointmy man was handed a plate of oysters which he was expected to grab. When he was trying, the server fell a bit forward and 2oysters flew off the plate. They said they would replace them but didn't. We were still charged for them. They were only adollar so we didn't make a fuss about it. Value is key and buck a shuck is certainly value which is why this is a 5 star forthis visit. They also had one outstanding item that I would happily return for. Parking is available in a large shared parkinglot. Read more

The one dollar oysters were amazing. It tasted fresh and tasted flavourful with the sauces. Their seared duck is also amazing.... It was flavourful, moist and the sauce complemented the duck. Read more

Unexpected gem in the suburbs with local produce, stumbled across it looking at the map for restaurants close to my hotel. Very... attentive service even picking up takeout - order directly from the restaurant website. Presentation was as nice as takeout canbe, and they pack the hot and cold dishes separately. Seared duck was fantastic, vegan cheesecake was enjoyable but thechocolate dessert was the highlight and definitely enough to share between two. Read more
