It was our first time there. I would give it 4 stars, with 1 star removed because I felt like the entire place could be cleaned... a bit better. The window sills at the booths were not clean and made me lose appetite when I saw them. But, it was redeemed andsaved to 5 stars because of Syd's (our server) service. When we walked in and were seated, Syd (Sydney) introduced herself andwrote her name on the paper table cover. I thought it was very interesting that she wrote it and after some thought, I thoughtit was an excellent idea. It's helpful for the customers to remember, and for those with language barriers or hearingimpairment, writing her name down will help everyone communicate with her. I ordered an ice tea and asked if there wereflavours like raspberry. Although they didn't have raspberry ice tea, Syd went the extra mile and added raspberry shots to myice tea. She also went the extra mile in other ways and our table agreed that her service was great. The spinach dip was nottoo bad. My family enjoyed it, but I thought there are others out there that are better - such as the Tavern's or Shark Club.The corn bread was delicious and the breaded chicken with mashed potatoes that I ordered was good as well. I think thecleanliness of the place could do with some work, but my family and I agreed we would go again because the service was stellar.Thank you for making it a fantastic dinner, Syd! Read more
Service was excellent. my server, Ravin K. was very pleasant and efficient and accommodated my special requests without any... issues. Good food, very tasty, great atmosphere, excellent service. I am NOT employed by Montana’s or receiving anything forthis review, I just enjoyed the experience and wanted to relay that. With prices going up everywhere people want to chosecarefully when they go to a restaurant, and I would highly recommend Montana’s. Read more
Been in Canada 20yrs but never went to Montana's in Winnipeg. Glad I did today. The spinach dip simply beats all others, and the... southern cooked chicken burger was brilliant enough to not regret my first ever trip. Our waiter Jeremy was efficient,friendly, and great at his job. It makes a difference when wait staff are awesome. I'll be back. Read more
It was again a pleasant visit and excellent meal we enjoyed as a family. Well taken care of from the beginning. Right after... lunch time it was not that full and we did not wait. From the moment we did sit down till we got our food we maybe waited 20minutes max! We visited different Montana's all over the place and we usually order the same. Rib and Wing Combo. And Ihonestly never had a better meal enjoyed than in this location. Looking forward to more. Thanks. Read more
If I could give my experience a 0 I would. I arrived at 11:45 today (opens at 11:30) with 4 others for “all you can eat... ribs”. There were 4 others in the restaurant aside from our group. We waited 45 minutes before we decided to leave - had to beback at the office. During that long wait “Deeds” came back to our table after half an hour to say their kitchen was backedup and busy… how when you opened 15 minutes ago and the restaurant is not full or near full. Also did not even offer torefresh our beverages. Absolutely terrible service! When we were heading out my coworker offered to pay for drinks and theappy, Deeds was extremely rude and waved at her to go away. Long and the short. Your staffs customer service skills areabsolutely terrible, and so is their efficiency and time management. Additionally, this is not the first time we had to walkout of specifically this location due to being left at the table completely ignored for an extended period of time. What a great Birthday celebrated with my Mom. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere was wonderful. Always love coming here.
This will be the last time I go to Montana’s. I have tried several times over the last 10 years. I have not had much luck with... the ribs here. Service is not exceptional, actually below average. Staff do not seem to be well trained. I ordered the regularribs apple butter. Ribs arrived so dry, I would need a dozen beer just to wash it down. I sent it back. They did offer toreplace it but I figure you only get 1 chance to impress me. Any time I have sent something back to the kitchen the managerwould come by the table. This did not happen here. Guess that person did not really care. That’s ok because I don’t care toreturn ever again. Read more
