UPDATED review! I go here all the time for a great priced breakfast special. The gentlemen in the kitchen are always super... friendly and even if I walk in past lunch hour(just after 1 pm when they close at 2) they never give me a sour face or anunhappy comment because I'm wanting to enjoy something to eat at this time) I wish I could say the same for the lady behind thecounter. I really enjoy the food here, that is what brings me back. I work evenings so I wake up late and love breakfast andI'm always super quick in and out. I also work in a restaurant and understand when someone walks in before closing it isfrustrating. But I never walk in Half an hour until close or later. It's always a decent amount of time left. I also never makea customer feel like they're doing something wrong by wanting a bite to eat at my business. If anything, you would be thankfulthey're coming in to your business. That's how I feel atleast? I used to tip quite a bit here but now I lowered it due to thosereactions I felt, I also come in earlier, but if someone is more kind to me and inviting then I will tip more. Was served the worst example of sunny side up eggs ever. Burnt bottom, raw, slimy egg whites on top and when I politely asked to... have them remade, the waitress (owner?) snatched my plate from me and stomped off swearing under her breath. This wasn?t anisolated incident, I?ve been there about a half dozen times and the poor food and attitude have been pretty consistent. As their hours are 07:00 AM to 02:00 PM this is a breakfast and lunch only restaurant. If you miss the old days of the cafeteria... style Salisbury House's than you'll feel right at home with Luigi's. You order at the front, pay, and pour your own coffee orwater. The food is brought to your table. Although some people might not like the serve yourself coffee I loved it, you don'thave to wait when your cup is empty and the coffee is great. The waitress does go around to the tables with a pot when there'stime which is also nice. I loved the breakfast potatoes although I did not care for the overpowering taste of the home madesausages or the flavourless eggs. The menu looks great though and I'll be back again. Read more
We haven?t been there in about 5 years although we live extremely close, because the food was less than good. We decided to try... it again and really really felt like we were bothering them. Unbelievably rude, so we left without ordering and I?m quitecertain they were glad we left. Restaurant was empty too. The woman serving the front should be in the back where no one can seeher or hear her lol Good luck with that business model, wowsers.
