Reviews for Kawaii Crepe in Winnipeg, MB
Never have I had to review this place badly ever. It's always been good but that night, meh. One crepe was super soft and the... other one was hard and fell apart in crisps. Hopefully next time its better. Read more
This is usually one of my favorite place but I can't say that today. Wanting a Pepsi with my food only the learn they had zero... pop of any kind. Strange I thought. The crepe was tasty once you finally got to the filling. I actually had a tape measure & itwas 1 1/2" from the top before there was any filling. Not the way I usually get them. Not sure about going back, even if it'sonly about the pop. Read more
Very accommodating with gluten allergies. The staff was knowledgeable regarding the precautions to take when preparing a celiac... friendly crepe. The menu provided plenty of gluten free options and the taste surpassed any expectations. Highly recommend toall celiac folks looking for a quick inexpensive bite. Read more
I'll give more stars if only my crepe wasn't crunchy. Clean location. Friendly staff.
Excellent food. Even open on a holiday Monday and late Sunday! Can recommend the Saigon, butter chicken and ninja. The... gluten-free option ($1 xtra) was a delicious rice flour. The crepes were thin and not pancakes. We took to go. They?re a littleslower than other crepe places I?ve frequented but their menu variety and taste pairings. We also like the sweet strawberryNutella and sweet pear Read more

Ordered 4 crepes from here and the first one which was the sweet tooth crepe had multiple missing ingredients. The two Caesar's... were inedible because the majority of lettuce was brown and wilted, I thought it was a soggy grean bean at first, the taste washorrific. When I called the store because I had ordered it through skip the dishes the VERY unprofessional manager blamed thecourier for the order even though couriers arent the ones making the food. Additionally, when I told her the lettuce washorrible and brown she condescendingly told me "well you're the first person who has complained about our lettuce." Skip wouldonly do 50% discount so I called hoping I could possibly recieve a credit for a crepe because it is a restaurant I USED toenjoy. But she said that they could not do anything about it and again condescendingly blamed skip and essentially acted as if Iwas dumb for thinking cooked lettuce would be crunchy even though IT IS BROWN and absolutely discoloured and said "next time youshould come in so it will be more fresh to eat." Highly don't reccomend going here and I'm kind of surprised because I havenever had a bad experience prior, but this one was so horrific that I'm going to tell everyone I know to be weary of the St.Vital location and its management. This is the first restaurant I've ever been to that has been so unwilling to help or recieveany blame for their disgusting food. I ate part of the Caesar and threw it up an hour later, couldn't reccomend enough DO NOTEAT HERE. (The first below picture is the greenest piece of lettuce I could find which there were few of, and one of MANY tinybrown pieces) Read more
