My husband and I came here for Happy Hour with friends, and the atmosphere in this building is very cool. I ordered one handmade... XL perogy with a cranberry potato blend - dill cream - kielbasa - onions + herbs which was so delicious that I would order itagain. I also ordered a house salad for a side dish, but I guess I should have paid closer attention to this dish having corn init which I am not a fan of. My husband ordered the Chickpea Curry (sauteed chicken - yellow curry chickpeas - broccoli - redpeppers - cilantro - side naan) which he said was good and that he would order it again as well. Overall the service was good,the company was great, the food was quite tasty, and the Happy Hour House Wine that I ordered was just OK, and I wouldn't orderit again. Read more

I will go out of my way to visit this place. Decided to visit Canada and some of the locals referred me to this restaurant. I... love the way they leverage some of the history and built a restaurant around it. The drinks were amazing and they allowed you toget picky and how you want it made. The staff were very kind, fast to serve you, and were eager to please. The food was amazingnothing that I ordered was sent back. I decided to have more of a small plate vibe so I ordered a little bit of everything andhad a few drinks. TVs are on in case your company is boring or you want to come alone. It was pretty busy but you can tell thestaff did everything to ensure you had a good time but they also flip tables to ensure the next person can sit down quickly. Read more
So very welcoming! We landed in Winnipeg late, and this was the only place open nearby. Though they closed at 11pm and we... arrived at 10pm, they didn't make us feel rushed at all. Some restaurants would say, "Kitchen closes soon, you have to orderimmediately.". Not here. They seated us, told us the kitchen closed at 10:30, and that we had plenty of time to order. I reallyappreciated that they have a full page menu of vegetarian and vegan options. Drinks and food were tasty and well-priced. Thegiant pierogie is to die for, a must try!
