This is the second time I?m getting sick after eating dinner from Indian Food Corner. Last time I got food poisoned around 2... months ago and after that I never ordered from them. Two days ago I thought I will give them a try again and ordered the chickencurry and chapathis. It tasted good while I ate it but after 30 minutes my stomach started paining and I was having a badheadache. I tried to sleep and couldn?t sleep. After sometime Diarrhea started and I was in the washroom for around 2 hours.Next morning I went to the doctor and he confirmed that I was food poisoned. I checked in with some of my friends in townsharing my experience and they also told me that they have had similar experiences with the food from Indian food corner in thepast. At this point it is very clear that Indian food corner has been serving old food and has been cheating their customersespecially white people who doesn?t know the authentic taste of Indian food. I have contacted the Manitoba Public HealthInspector regarding the 2 experiences I have had, I have also shared the proof of purchase and doctors documentation for thefood poisoning . Please serve fresh food and make sure that food is not old. I understand the fact that the food prices arecheap in your restaurant but that doesn?t mean that you have to cut down the quality of the food and serve rotten items makingthe citizens sick. I will never be having your food again. if you want to flourish your business please serve quality food toyour customers. I know there is a student chain in Pembina South who rely on Indian food corner for their tiffin services,please do not serve old food to them. Read more
We ordered two times from them. For the first time we tried their butter chicken with Naan. That was awesome. The second one... was lamb curry. I'm happy that they are open till 2 am ???????? Read more
When they started, the food was really good. The food quality has gone down ever since. Almost every curry based dish seems to... be cooked using the same gravy base and then heavily spiced to hide the actual taste of ingredients. Orders are never completedin time. If they say 15 mins plz be ready to wait at least 30 mins. Even if you order through skip and get a particular time forpick up, you've to always wait for your order after you reach on time. No parking in front of the restaurant only makes it worseif you have to wait for your pick up. Read more
Tried Veg Thali and Dahi Bhalla. Both were amazing. Thali came with choice of 2 veg sabzi, tawa roti, rice, raita and Gulab... jamun. Masala bhindi was delicious. Chapati was so fresh and soft, felt like eating homemade food. Price wise its veryconvenient. Menu wise all options available. I will definitely visit again and highly recommend to others. Full value for moneyand amazing taste. Only takeout available due to renovations, so cannot comment on ambience or anything else. Read more
Its the second time we order pakora and its over cooked. Kind of extra crispy. Little less than burn. Filling of smosa very... simple!! PLEASE WORK On QUALITY!! Delivery via Skip. On time, courteous delivery by Rashpinderpal. Food was outstanding. Very traditional flavours with perfectly... balanced spices. Plenty of meat, rich sauces, plenty of chutney, raita, including Lime Pickle (double yum). Ordered the KarahiChicken, Chana, Butter Chicken with Samosa and Naan - enough for 4 including 2 ravenous teens with left overs forbreakfast. Best Curry in Winnipeg. Read more
Stopped by Nov082021 to see what they had and get some lunch after looking at the menu online. As a fan of Ivory and East... Indian Food, was curious to see what's going on here. Ordered the "Lamb Combo" and a small size of "Butter Chicken". I enteredthe front and appears construction is in progress. I was pleasantly greeted and my order was taken. Was advised that it wouldtake 15 minutes. Waiting outside, order was ready for transportation just under 20 minutes later. Dishes were hot (freshlyprepared) and smelt wonderful. Rushing home, unpacked and sampled the lunch, wonderful! Everything was perfectly seasoned forme, not hot needed. Large portions with quality and value for what i paid. I will be back in the near future to checkconsistency but this place is a GEM and if you enjoy East Indian Food check this out and the menu. See photos below! Cheers! Read more
We always do take out from here, because its close to my house and the quality is good than the other stores around. Good taste,... good staff but sometimes waiting time is too much.
