It has been a long time coming to finally try Frank?s Pizza. Tried it on two separate occasions before making this two-star... review, and three different types of pizza. Honestly, in my opinion- for the quantity, taste, and *quality... the price isexorbitant. The pizzas seem to taste like nothing special at all, but just with a HIGH price. Have noticed Frank?s Pizza to bethe choice of rich people... it seems completely because they can justify spending 2x that of other pizza places yet thequantity and taste are similar or worse even than other places. It?s almost like a status thing even. Particularly noteworthyis that we tried the cheeseburger pizza and four of us were disappointed. To me, the location is questionable as well beingtied with a night club that is not regarded as being the fanciest place out there, meanwhile Frank?s is a posh pizza place.Seems super odd. I will note that the customer experience seems excellent at Frank?s, based on the times we ordered! *Bothwellcheese is super quality! Was super excited about this then found the cheese to taste no better than other pizza places. Bothwellcheese is indeed the best of the best quality around here! Not planning to buy here much anymore, 100% Domino?s, etc. are theway to go. Domino?s, Pizza Hotline (although horrible customer service), Papa Johns, Gondola, even Pizza Hut are all REALLY goodif ordering at a discounted rate! Specials, etc.! Read more
I've now ordered, over the past year, approximately ten pizzas from Frank's. With no exceptions all were really good. Last night... I ordered a medium double pepperoni, salami and double cheese with extra sauce. I didn't weigh it but I'll bet it was 5 lbs. ormore! They never skimp on giving toppings but WOW! I ordered a medium Frank's Combo. Their original crust is traditional pan style and has a great chew to it. No flop. I like mine... a bit crunchier, so I'm going to try well done, next time. The sauce is fantastic. Savoury, not sweet, and not overly salty. Thetoppings are evenly shared, and every bite is wicked delicious. There was no grease on this pizza. I'll definitely order again.I prefer New York style slices, but this is up there with Santa Lucia for Winnipeg's best pan pizza. Different taste from SLthough, in a good way. SL has the sweeter sauce, again, this is more savoury. Both are legit. Read more
First time ordering from this location. The delivery was very fast and the pizza was hot and great. Not Many places give you... extra cheese when you ask for it. They sure did not cheap out in any way. Will definitely order when I'm back in this end oftown. Read more
WORST "PIZZA" EVER. I heard so many positive things about Frank's so I decided to give them a shot. First the pizza is expensive... for literally nothing. Save your money there is much better pizza places around the city. Second.. I ordered a pizza with cheeseand pepperoni, want to know what I got when I opened the box? Burnt to a crisp bread all broken apart in the box and no toppings(I'm serious just burnt bread with sause). I didn't bother making a complaint because clearly looking at the reviews I'm not thefirst person that's very dissatisfied. So here I am taking my review to google for all of you to see. Save. Your. best pizza in town, hands down. The crust was soft and fresh. I don?t know what all these negative reviews came from, because my... experience with this restaurant has been nothing but amazing. Even the delivery was quick, and the workers are genuinely thekindest people. I 100% recommend this place, and I will for sure order from here again soon. Read more
I wasnt a huge fan, the dough was boring and the sauce tasted funny to me. This is my second time going to give them a fair... chance and I didn't like it either time. My cheese curds were still frozen in the middle as well. Read more
A bit pricey at 72 bucks and change for 2 medium specialty pizzas, a small cheese and a 7up but enjoyed it. Staff was very... friendly, food was exactly as ordered and ready on time.Picked up at the portage avenue location. Read more
