The food is way over priced for not only the amount but the quality. The burger patties was bland, and overall small. The fries... were average but barely any on the plate and way over priced. The milk shake was $6.50 for a small glass. This restaurant is awaste of campus reality and should be replaced with something that actually caters to students needs. Read more

4.50 for an Americano? Usually two shots everywhere else but here it?s $3 for one shot and add another for $1.50. Huh? Plus... their other location serves it for less. Someone used the word gourmet to describe the food here. I?m pretty sure thatindividual has never had gourmet food. The prices are very high considering you can purchase the same types of food, at placeswith experienced staff who will offer great customer service and efficient service, in a timely manner with food that is cookedby experienced cooks. I can get the same meal, flawlessly at a restaurant that knows what they?re doing. Here it?s like beingin a cooking school, where everyone is brand new. It also looks really cheap, poor decor. If the place operates like a normalbusiness in terms of quality expectations, I?d be fine with the prices. Today I had eggs that weren?t cooked properly, at adirty table. The eggs were taken back and cooked but differently than I?d requested. I was handed a new napkin that wasdirty. I think they need management with experienced running a successful restaurant. They staff also seem bombarded with takeout orders that they?re too busy to offer better service to the tables. It angers me that the business seems to be survivingoff obligatory meal plans by students in residence. Being forced to pay prices that anywhere else offer a standard level ofservice, and getting much less, is exploiting students. Being the most sustainable restaurant in Canada is great, forcingstudents to patronize your business so you can achieve it is not great. I question the sustainability of this business whenthey rely on mandatory clientele. Perhaps becoming a cooking school and offering customers the option of eating there would bebetter for all involved. How do you evaluate the success of your business when the population with the least experience beingselective restaurant consumers are forced to eat there. Read more

They gave me a hard time about wanting my coffee in my reusable mug. After telling me that they would make it in a cup and then... throw it out and I told them that defeats the purpose of bringing your own mug :( 0 out of 5 stars if you?re trying to do yourpart for the planet! I also have never had actual good coffee here unfortunately but I tough it out because I work in thebuilding and it?s convenient for a caffeine-fix. Haven?t tried the food but wouldn?t recommend the coffee or lattes in terms ofquality. ???? Read more

Quite a nice setting altho sitting by the large windows is hot in summer and cold in winter. Menu options has shrunk over the... last year but still has a number of tasty items. Ramen (noodle soup) is a favorite but I have not been disappointed with otheritems. Prices are reasonable but perhaps a little high. Serving staff are always friendly and efficient. Read more

Their food is hit and miss and they treat meal plan students very poorly. Food is unnecessarily expensive ($6 for popcorn was my... personal favourite) and often wrong or not cooked properly. Once, a dining mate of mine ordered a medium rare steak and receiveda blue steak - very unappetizing if that's not what you wanted! Elements isn't all bad though, they have lovely gluten free andvegetarian options and are very accommodating for such dietary preferences. Read more
