Always feels good to visit here. Always warm welcome and really nice staff. Food is always perfect, nice view of outside, good... sitting, good interior and lighting. Servers really care about the customer and try to make their visit memorable and not likeother places that forgets that the customers needs something or wait too long for their food. Food is always hot and fresh andbest place to dine in if you like East Indian cuisine in Winnipeg. Read more

Yesterday we had the worst experience. We ordered takeout and instead of lamb we found shrimp in our lamb biriyani. Turned... around went back to restaurant and they rectified the order only to give us the worst biriyani we had ever had from therestaurant. Again turned around to return all the food and get a refund. First they said they would only give us restaurantcredit but as I refused and as I was leaving the restaurant called back and refunded. We have been going to the restaurant formany years and we had realized that chicken dishes were not so great. Once we had ordered chilli chicken and it was so bad thatwe had to throw it out and we stuck to lamb/goat dishes only. After yesterdays experience not sure if we will ever go thisrestaurant again. These two stars are for the food that they serve, delicious and flavorful, but on my last visit, I had to change my mind about... how many stars to give them, because only their service have deteriorated. We were treated really badly, our appetizers came invery slowly and our drinks were only served after they served the main course. I have seen their good days. I hope managementwould look into it now and train servers better on customer service! Date of visit: 9 October 2:45 pm Read more

#Second_hand_food I ordered Chana bhatura thali and chicken thali. Chicken was very bad and so sweet. They gave other dishes... like mix veg, sweet paneer and rice etc. Everything was super sweet. Not a good place for people who are pre diabetic or havingdiabetes as their sugar levels will go up right away when they will eat the sweet curries from here as they have good amount ofsugar. Especially the mix veg and rice, both were not fresh and tasteless. I'm very disappointed. Idk why they call it Indiancuisine. Indian food is not like this. Read more

First, I love Indian food that is so delicious and multi-flavored! It's a franchise and I went to portage location with my... Indian friends before, which was my first time to try Indian food and it surprised me. So I came to this one on Kenaston with mygirl. The food was still nice, but they made some mistakes like they forgot to serve the dishes I ordered and also they putwrong price on my bill. They overcharged me $7+tax for the fish and I had to find it out by myself. Then they gave me $7 backbut without that tax... ???????? Well, I have to say that you should not expect to earn tips by just asking how's everythinggoing and waiting for tips when running a restaurant. You should serve with your brains... Anyways, I still love Indian foodsbut I think I am not going to this location again... For the dishes, butter chicken is kind of too sweet for me, but might be agood try for most of you. Spicy lamb is definitely my favorite and should always be picked. As for the fish, called Pickeral, Ithink it was not fully cooked and smelt a bit. So I wouldn't recommend that fish. And also the vegetable tempura wastasteless... All these reviews are my personal and I would still recommend you guys to give it a try. Have fun! ???? Read more

Honestly, it was a very good experience. Our server Tyler gave us 11/10 cusotmer service. Food was fresh and delicious. My... friend can't have spicy food and I love spicy food so having side of hot sauce and chili pepper was really nice. Butter chickenand Naan bread was really good too. Only thing I didn't like was that the veggie noodle dish had very little amount of veggie init but cost $15. Read more

If you are thinking to order a take out from this Clay Oven; please think again. With self pick up 10%off, I got 3 little pieces... of goat meat in the dinner meal ?Thali Platter-Goat Thali Dinner?from Clay Oven by paying more than $16 dollars. Be honestly, ifI know there is only little main food like that; even with 50% off I still would rather save the gas not going to order and pickup a dinner like this. I don?t know what happened to this restaurant; but as a regular client, it is very upset and disappointedexperience. Situation of these days is not easy for everyone; not only the business owner. (Spicy chill chicken was ok; that?san other $17 dollars) Read more

Visited Clay Oven on Saturday !! One of the top restaurant in Winnipeg which gives really bad service and bad food. We were nine... people on that day we reached at 8:30 pm and they welcomed us. We ordered some appetizers and we received our some items after awhile but, she gave spoons and forks ???? just to only four people and we asked three times for the spoons. After that, in themiddle of eating appetizers she asked for the main course we told her for wait sometime for this and after waiting five minutesshe came again for the main course order so, we ordered but she prepared the main course food just after a while and we haven?tfinished our appetizers and some appetizers were pending by which she gave us some appetizers with main course!! TOTALLYUNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE AND BAD FOOD I am attaching some pictures of food like the chicken wings was not cooked as it needed, very low quantity of paneer in the karahi paneer , bhindi was really untasted , lassi was too sweet and much more !
