We came in later on a Monday evening. The place was empty -which was not surprising as it was after 8:30. The food was... FANTASTIC! It came exactly as ordered. We ordered double fries for one of the dinners, and we were pleasantly surprised that itwas an ACTUAL extra side of fries that showed up. The pizza was ordered with extra sauce, and the quantity was bang on. Theserver was pleasant, even though they were likely wrapping up for the evening. We will most definitely be back, and may evendrive further to come to this location, just because of our experience. Thank you!! Read more
Awesome food/good location. Nice clean restaurant, plenty of parking. Staff are always courteous and friendly...and...the food... is fantastic! Have ordered a few things off their menu over the past year, and have always had 'great eats'. Quality of thechicken is superb...(you can tell they maintain their fryer/oils properly)... the chicken has always been perfectly prepared. What an absolute surprise. You don't generally think of Chicken Chefs as being on the trendy side. The ones we've been to in... past usually give off a small town vibe (which is fine) and have typically been a bit dated. This one is gorgeous. If you arelooking for great ambience, here's your place! The food was equally delicious. Our waitress was the sweetest. The manager was sofriendly and made us feel very welcome and answered our barrage of questions. We will definitely return. Our only regret is thatit took us so long to try it out! Read more
Went to dine in, felt like it was 40 degrees inside. I guess the air conditioning was broken, but the staff wasn't sure. We... changed our order to take out. Did was good but they gave me and charged me for an extra pizza and drink that I didn't order.Let management know by email ... No response. Hopefully when the air gets fixed the staff will be able to communicate better. Noexcuse for management tho. Update: heard back from the manager. He apologized, fixed the A/C, and offered free drinks. Read more
First time experience. Extremely clean establishment. Dining area has multiple seating style options. Great lay out and interior... design, lighting and temperature was perfect. TVs and ceiling speakers are well done. Great tasting food that is filling andpriced well. Server and owner went above and beyond. Very difficult to find a wholesome restaurant these days, glad we popped infor a bite. Will be frequenting Chicken Chef Island Lakes. Read more
Went to Chicken Chef (Island Lakes location) for 1st time yesterday for supper with my nephew/grandnephew, after learning Swiss... Chalet had sadly shuttered its doors. We were pleasantly surprised with the spacious and well laid out dine-in area. Service wasfriendly, food was excellent, and reasonable prices for the meals. Chicken was 45 mins late and all that was offered was a free 2 litre pop. I'd would of preferred taking the $5 drivers tip off... over a 2 litre product. Will no longer order from this location. Will stick to Marion. Way better service. Read more
