A lovely little establishment with a friendly owner to greet you. Enjoyed a Clubhouse sandwich from this establishment for lunch... and left very full and very happy. The sand which was made fresh and the ingredients practically melted in my mouth. Juicy,crispy chicken on fresh rye bread with perfect bacon and well sized tomatoes. Breakfast here was delicious, I got the the classic bacon and eggs with toast. Although it is a classic dish, this restaurant... serves it at a very affordable price along with excellent service. I stumbled upon this place 3 years ago looking for a good home style breakfast in Winnipeg. A clean restaurant, even more so... considering the location, which may steer some away. The breakfast special is delicious! Well priced and the option for kielbasaa definite plus. Super friendly staff (family run). Good soups and sandwiches as well. The city crews and hydro crews eat hereon the daily, so it must be good! Read more
