This is a pleasant place in downtown Winnetka. The parking can be a little tight but there is a larger lot a block away. I only... had a smoothie and it was okay but the service was very good. There is also outside seating. Read more

We went for brunch on Memorial Day. The location is nice and the outdoor seating was comfortable. The food was fine, although... they had hash browns on the menu and they do NOT serve hash browns—they serve breakfast potatoes (hash browns are shredded). The service was pretty terrible. I talked directly to the host/waiter, letting him know we were sitting outside, he said hewould bring us menus. He did not—we waited several minutes then I went to get them (it was not busy). He apologized, but thenseemed to forget about us again. We never got water. We were not even offered a refill on coffee. We did get the correct order,and like I said, it was fine, nothing special—egg breakfast and the eggs Benedict. After eating, we asked for the bill and thehost/waiter just did not bring it. I saw him inside stacking chairs, so I went inside to pay. Just not a welcoming or pleasantexperience. Maybe they were short staffed? But it seemed more like our host/waiter just kept forgetting that he was supposed tobe waiting tables. Read more
