We like the KFC/LJS combo here. We are glad they serve grilled chicken and hush puppies.
Use to love both, but the family fish/chicken meal was just too deep fried..a bit disappointed, but it is what it is.
The shrimp and hushpuppies were good but the fish left a lot to be desired. It was dry and flat like someone has been standing... on it. Presumably over cooked. And none of the extra crunchies I have enjoyed in the past. Read more
I have enjoyed long john silvers for many years then all the stores that i frequented closed. I thought long john silvers... folded. So when i saw this one i was pleased. The employees are friendly and helpful but the fish had a strong oil taste as didhush puppies. The fish coating was hard to cut with knife. I cut simply with fork in the past. I hope it was just a bad day. Read more
The fish was fine. The fries tasted alright but were definitely not the best presentation. :-)
The only item that I truly enjoyed was the Cole slaw...all else was super greasy and to much batter????. Sorry but I'll never... eat that again. I might not stop through for The long John silver's but maybe the KFC. I really don't know. Read more
Fish & shrimp was warm and what I'd expected. The service missed great and became mediocre because they forgot to include a... couple key things that made my dinner , #1. The requested extra "crumbles", ( I ended up with none), & the tarter sauce. Whichwouldn't have been so bad had they not specifically asked me if I wanted it. ???? Read more
