Felt bad for the girl running it. Walked in, no menu or tables. Didn?t know if I was in the right place. Thankfully the girl... working there came out since no one else was there. After reading about Syd's Sandwich Co. We decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed, the Corned Beef Sandwich, Salad... and Soup was to a perfection and amazing, what a great job the personal touch can be seen all Ingredients were local except forthe beef which came from Montreal. My sister referred to this new place in downtown Windsor. I?m so glad I tried it! I ordered the corned beef sandwich and chicken... with dumplings soup. Both were amazing! I was so full but I couldn?t stop eating! Well done! I?ll be back! Read more
Went to the Saturday market and stopped in to grab lunch on our way out. I had the Corned beef and my husband had the pulled... pork. They were both 5/5 amazing. Quality ingredients and full of flavor. The coleslaw had a ton of sauce, it was to die for. Ihad a broccoli and cheddar soup and husband had a salad. Everything was fresh and the soup was piping hot. One slice of tomato and ONE piece of cut up spinach for a veggie sandwich. The bread was saturated with heavy butter or oil on... the outside, and heavy butter or mayo inside (not asked for), and no tapenade that was $1 extra. The coleslaw was swimming insauce too. I ordered their corned beef sandwich with double corned beef & homemade soup! Their soup was chicken dumpling soup & it was... amazing! The corned beef sandwich was super filling and delicious! I usually don?t like coleslaw but syd coleslaw was creamy &delicious! I will definitely order here again! 10/10 recommend! Read more
I had a chicken sandwich and the chicken dumpling soup, and it was amazing!! My boyfriend got their famous corned beef sandwich... and a Caesar salad, he was obsessed. They cooked my chicken fresh, and even added cheese to substitute my tomato since I don?tlike them. I was very full after my meal. Sydney was so nice at the counter and even made very helpful suggestions when I wasn?tsure what to order. This will not be my last time at Syd?s! Read more
Was craving a Reuben and this place had good reviews on Google. Took a 20 min drive to grab a sandwich and when I get there the... restaurant is closed. I arrived at 4pm but Google, Facebook and the schedule they have posted on the actual window of therestaurant itself says they are open until 5pm. Read more
